“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

“Our family of six had breakfast here. We ordered matcha latte, iced matcha, macchiato, cappuccino , steak and egg sandwich, chicken sandwich , egg and ham sandwich, and pancakes. Their pancakes tasted really organic and fresh; all sandwiches were freshly made and delicious, but the steak sandwich was particularly tasty. The space is tight though. But I love the city small cafe atmosphere.“

“There is a huge selection of freshly roasted coffee from various roasters in the region. From what I understand, they rent the facility to do their roasting, and then sell their beans here, as well as at their cafes. Naturally, the place smells amazing! I had an espresso and an Americano to go. Both were excellent. The biscuits/scones are the best I’ve had in a long time…especially the plain ones with fresh cream and jam. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all their products. The location is close to a path along the canal…a perfect stop during a bike ride or walk. Looking forward to my next visit!“

Had a tasting menu and it was 50/50 delicious and so so. (Hence the 4stars) service was a little slow but not unreasonable. I enjoyed myself and would recommend this place to a friend.“

“Casa De Pastel has the best crepes I've had in the entire Greater Montreal area! Everything is fresh, delicious, and very generous in portion. You can truly taste the quality in every bite.

“Love the cherry-chocolate-amaretto and vanilla raspberry ice cream flavors. You can get your ice cream and walk through the park. They were so patient and enthusiastic in allowing us to taste a few different flavors. The line was more like a mob in front of the shop and could probably be organized a bit better. “While walking in the Avenue Mont-Royal and looking for a new cafe, I found this little cafe outside of the avenue and give it a try. The place is small but cute. It gives the local cafe feeling and the atmosphere is good too with the wooden aesthetic and interior. The latte tastes good and not burn and I might give it a try with the matcha and chai latte since it seems to be the most popular in here with the food. There are also seats in outdoor for those that want to hangout in the outside too.“

“Staff is super friendly and cool and I never tire of the espresso blend there. It's smaller than the St Lambert location so it's not noisy and has a cozy feel to it.
Only downside is some tables are no laptop zones and it hits the coffee culture vibe a tad but I understand it's to reduce time abuse by certain people.“

“Eclectic equestrian-themed bistro with a bohemian vibe. World class coffee drinks and the ricotta pancakes are favorites at this easily-missed cafe up some stairs on St Denis. They really should make it more obvious about their fine coffee to passers-by. They do a good business but are rarely crowded, unlike many that are down on the street. We stayed only a few doors away and didn't notice them, but when we did and tried them we were blown away. A neighborhood standout. I almost forgot- their breads are baked in house and are incredible!“
