“This restaurant really surprised me, I went with my boyfriend over 2 months ago and the food was great and so fresh, I still order their sweet and sour chicken to this day and it is absolutely delicious. The staff is also very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, I don’t often leave reviews but I would definitely recommend!“

We were sitting in a dining room, the wall unit for the air conditioning was so dirty. When you walk into the restaurant, it smells damp, like there's water damage on the carpet. And the walls, you see that they haven't been washed for years. You see behind the scenes and the accumulation of dirt over the years ?“

PS: The Volcano Spicy wings are the spiciest thing ive ever ate in my life, like no kidding im talking top of the Scoville chart! I ate em once on a Saturday night and I think I re-enacted that one episode of the Simpsons with the spicy chili peppers ?

But I highly reccomend the Spicy Sweet Original ones if you're lookin for some sweet n spicy stuff! But if you want absolute spice overload? The Volcano Spicy wings are a real challenge!“

“Hard to find something to complain about this place.

Placed an order by phone and the lady was unbelievably nice and cooperative. She even let me know that it was cheaper to place an order by phone than by Uber/DD (highly recommend doing that!).

The food was immaculate. I've tried a lot of dumplings in Mtl and none compares to these. Dumplings overflow with flavor, even if it's just pork and chives. They fried them to perfection; not too little, not too much. Takoyakis were perfectly cooked; crispy outside, melting in the middle with plenty of squid bits. And their wonton soup tastes like REAL wonton soup, none of that dishwasher water tasting crap from other takeouts.

Clearly a spot that knows how to put love in their craft! Will most definitely come back!“

“Came to Montreal on holidays but craving for Chinese food. The Sichuan dishes here lack of Mala flavor (numbing and spicy flavor) but I guess it’s adapted to local taste. Although not completed satisfied, it did give some sort of comfort to my cravings. Service here is slow and not excellent.

Also they have two types of La Zi Ji ( spicy chili chicken) which I haven’t never seen in any restaurants, one with bones and the other without bones. The one without bones is actually not authentic at all, it’s just fried chicken with some chills, more catered for westerns. The one with bones? My advice is not to have La Zi Ji with bones as most authentic La Zi Ji dishes don’t come with bones.“

The waitresses are very friendly and attentive, for example: Water is always refilled quickly. The food also came quickly from the kitchen.

“J'adore leurs grosses crevettes au sésame !!! Quand je commande, je commande toujours le « Combo C - Deluxe Szechuan ». Il est généreux et c'est largement suffisant pour 2 personnes, selon moi. “I’ve been to many Korean restaurants in my lifetime and I have to say that Mon Ami Express rates as one of the best. I ordered the Bibimbap with spicy pork and the japchae. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Generous portions at a great price. In fact, I went back the next day and ordered the very same thing. This place was great, loved it, small but the food is amazing, the service was kind and super quick and the ambiance very nice too.
We loved it, flavor wise it was bomb, the only note would be to add more meat to the kimchi rice and bibimbap, but honestly the other flavors kinda make it up for us.
The menu is simple, not too extensive and a lot of different choices, also I think price wise the portions are super good. We totally recommend it. Would probably go again, for sure. The highlight for us was the Duk Bok Kki, super tasty, very nice portion and steamy hot ?we also had peach soju with it, so good.

It was very delicious, omg, we really liked it, the taste was perfect, the service was very fast, they served very kindly and the place is cozy. I think the only note we made was that we would like a little more meat in the portions but the other add-ins and flavors make up for it well, so, well, it wasn't bad.
We loved the Duk Bok Kki, it was so delicious, so hot, and the portion, for an appetizer, was a very good size. We arrived early and it was a bit empty but people started arriving without spending too much time afterwards, so I think that speaks volumes. of its popularity.

“My second visit and still just as tasty and pleasant. The prices are really affordable. Instead of going to a buffet I really prefer to go to the panda dumpling. Small family business, frankly, it's worth it. I will definitely come back!

First of all every dish was piping hot. Like almost to hot to eat for a minute. Which is fabulous for me. Everything had a lovely portion size. Everything tasted fresh and lovely. Good balance in the soup. Dumplings taste fresh hand made and soft, but not squishy. I wish I was more than one person. Baby was able to sleep in his stroller close to us during the meal. In addition to this great advantage, we chose tasting menu B and we enjoyed ourselves! Good: we had the Omakase sushi and the lemon dessert. Both were absolutely fantastic. The fish was fresh and melt in your mouth. The lemon dessert thing was recommended from the waitress who was very sweet and gave great service.

Bad: this is very expensive, I wouldn’t spend money here unless I had free spend through my credit card. The breakfast was about as good as a shopping mall cafeteria. The berries on the side of my eggs Benedict had white mold growing on them.
