“I can't believe the best café in all of Montreal is just down the street from where I live. I spent my summer going around, trying lattés at every café imaginable. (It was a fun summer!) Magda is hands down my favorite! So happy to have you in the neighborhood!“

The interior is charming and the server was friendly.“

“Love this cozy little hole-in-the-wall tea salon. The owner is knowledgeable and helps you choose a matcha that's right for you :3 There are only a few tables, but the walls are covered with paintings and bookshelves, and the regulars are friendly. I don't go there that often because it's well out of my way, but 100% worth the trip by public transit. If memory serves there's a Bixi stand close by as well.

I don't go there often because it's quite far from where I live, but this salon is accessible by public transportation and it's worth it. The regulars are friendly :3 As I remember, there is also a Bixi station not far away.“

“Tommy Café is a beautiful spot with a stylish two-floor interior that’s definitely worth seeing. However, it gets extremely crowded and personally, I didn’t enjoy the coffee. Still, it’s a nice place to visit at least once for the atmosphere.“

“This place has a lovely vibe. The owner is energetic and very kind, and the food is yummy. I had the truffle Benedict, I subbed the bacon for smoked salmon - I love eggs, Benedict and this was a nice version of it. My partner had the Shakshuka royale, which was so good. Make sure to ask about dietary restrictions - we were told all ingredients were listed, although I’m not sure if that was the case for the Shaksuka, pretty sure there was dairy despite it not being listed, my partner did get an upset stomach afterwards. On the bright side, they were very much enjoying the meal during! This platter was clearly very special and popular.“

“We went one evening for a date, and we didn't expect that! It’s a very simple and at the same time very refined coffee. We felt that special care had been put into everything. The service was attentive, the food was extremely delicious (very fresh eggs, braised beef, a good variety on the plate…), and the atmosphere was great! It was a quiet evening, we were lucky to be able to enjoy this magnificent place with its decor while being almost alone just me and my husband! We're going back for sure!

We went there for a date and we weren't expecting that! Its a simple yet luxurious café. We felt that a lot of care had been put into everything. The service was attentive, the food was delicious (the eggs were very fresh, and the braised beef on top of them was perfect! There was a good variety in the plate…), and the ambiance was great! It was a quiet evening, we were lucky to enjoy that beautiful cafe being almost just the two of us my husband and I! Its really worth it and we will go back for sure!“

“I have been looking for my new favorite cafe place. I found it today. The vibe the owners have is contagious, you feel excited to try new pastries. I picked the big chocolate chip cookie, it was sooo good, almost like half baked cookie dough. I also tried the almond cookie so delicious with a hint of lemon 🍋.
