“Finally headed into Roberto Pizza Romana in Chelsea. Bought a loaf of bread and tried four different slices of pizza and some desserts. Had lunch with my uncle Fred! I have to say that the tastes are explosive and delicious. Each unique slice was delectable and had a truly fabulous separation of flavours which consequently combined to create a superior tasting experience. When I got home I sliced the loaf as I usually freeze bread and don’t eat it often. It is absolutely the first loaf I have ever cut up where the knife literally sliced through with an ease that almost made me uneasy(not really)! But I just could not believe how smooth the texture was. Basically akin to a hot knife through a cold slab of butter. Cannot wait to give a piece of that a toast. Everything in there from savoury to sweet is top shelf and worthy of a visit from afar or next door! “We went there twice and had a good experience both times. They have a number of creative pizzas and a few other dishes. Entrees are also available like fried pickles.The only thing I would add was an odd discussion I had with the waitress and subsequently the owner about their advertised "20 ounces" beers. When my beer was brought the the table, it was poured in an European glass called a "demi". I'm very familiar with these glasses as I come from France. A "demi" refers to a "half liter", which equals to a little less than 17 ounces. I half-jockingly brought that up to the owner's attention and pointed out I was missing quite a bit of my 20 ounces of beer, to which he responded that "these were the glasses he was getting from the supplier. Not a great explanation really and I didn't get a top-up nor a larger glass, which in my mind would have been the right thing to do.This is not unusual for restaurants to "cut corners" on drinks/glass sizes but I thought this would be worth noting.Food was great. Venue is nothing spectacular but pleasant and cozy. There is a flat screen on the wall presumably for game nights. Washroom.could use a bit of love/organizing. Service was good too.Kid-friendliness: Open to kids!Parking: Not a ton of parking but both times we went we had no problem finding space.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is at ground level, no problem for wheelchairs.“

My son had the Carne supreme (I think) and I had the Holy Shiitake. Both were delicious! The steak in particular, on the Carne, wow! The crust was fantastic, chewy and rustic with a fantastic crunch.
