We were looking for whole foods, healthy and nutritious options and… well, we found this place, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything felt so fresh, made on the spot, with a simple menu of vegan and vegetarian options changing every day and according to the season. The atmosphere is also really relaxing and people working here are so nice. I wish we lived in Ottawa to come back to this place more often. We need more places like this!“

“First time visitor on March 23, to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was happily booked up when I tried to make a reservation, so I was only able to secure a table at 5:15pm. I left a little note asking them to keep us in mind if there was a cancellation for a later spot, and they contacted me by email, text, and phone when a later table became available for 6:15pm. Very responsive and friendly staff. Our time at Soif was marvellous. The staff were friendly and extremely professional. Service was relaxed yet very polished. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and took great care to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a flight of wine to start, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, and a flight of bubbles to end our evening. We shared a half cheese/half charcuterie platter that came with a mountain of crispy and delicious crostini, the latter being refilled without having to ask. Such a small but lovely touch. We also shared roasted Brussels sprouts, frites and aioli, a bison tartare, and grilled radicchio, that were all delicious. They surprised my friend with a little dessert wine and candle to acknowledge her birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. I have not a single critique. The team here works like a well-oiled machine. No one seemed frantic or rushed. It was a lovely evening. I (we) will definitely be back. Santé!“

“I’ve been coming here at least monthly for the last few years. I’ve introduced so many of my friends and family to this place because it’s absolutely incredible. The food is delicious, the portions are huge and the price is even better! They have the best wonton soup I’ve ever had, and their dry peanut noodles with beef is also amazing. Everything is made by hand and fresh to order too and it reflects in the taste and quality.“

“I came here lastnight with my husband and two children. The place we were intending to go was under renovations so we came here last minute to give it a try. I’m a vegetarian so my husband typically inquires with staff about the food options before we settle in. I’m pregnant and was wanting poutine but the staff told him the poutine gravy wasn’t vegetarian friendly but I also love nachos so we stayed anyway. I asked for vegetarian nachos with no meat and lightly cooked, but they gave me nachos with veggie burger crumble on it and the chips were burnt. Because of the pregnancy I have a lot of annoying food aversions right now and I let the waitress know the nachos weren’t quite right. She fixed it right away and quickly brought nachos that were absolutely perfect! I was very happy and everyone else loved their food as well. Even the kids ate most of their food. My husband left her a good tip and we will definitely come back again! I’d say my only complaint was the DJ starting a bit too early as we were sat next to the booth and the kids found the music to be too loud. But 5 ⭐️ for everything else!“

The burrito was a bit tough (the tortilla was a bit over toasted/grilled).In the photos I’m also showing the normal French toast vs. the kids menu French toast.The service was great. Staff was friendly.The restaurant is open concept located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel seating area.Overall a good choice for breakfast.

The food is good and the sushi fresh. I regularly frequent this establishment on a monthly basis and they always deliver in terms of quality price.
