“I went there without knowing it was a Korean restaurant, but I was surprised to see “Igane” written on the sign.Like other reviews, the pork cutlet is really delicious.It is a steamed pork cutlet that you will want to eat again, even if compared to other famous pork cutlets in Korea (jeongdon, etc.).Be sure to try hirekatsu (tender pork cutlet)Seasoned chicken gangjeong comes with rice.The person I went with ate the pork rice bowl and said it was really delicious.What's a bit disappointing is that the store space is small.However, if I were a Korean living in Montreal, this is a restaurant I would go to often.Go when there aren't too many people and enjoy the meal.“

“We arrived for our reservation quite early but we were still able to be seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and of course spoke both French and English. We enjoyed Edamame and Chicken Gyoza to start and then had the Park Maki and Bluefin Bluefin. The appetizers were good and the sushi was absolutely wonderful. Finally, we enjoyed an omakase dessert. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely return.“

“i had written a request when i reserved online, but it obviously wasn't read as the waiter was unaware of the feature and my request, but he did well to fulfil it as we ordered. the end cut was offered as med but was more med/well, good for me but not as much for my companion, as we shared. nevertheless it was excellant and we were both very pleased. the blackened chicken didnt look like blackened chicken i've eaten at other places, it wasn't black, nevertheless it was quite tasty and juicy. the twice baked was very good. the cheescake was good, but overpriced, but i'm not crazy about cheesecake, it's not my favourite desert. coffee was good. best of all was service, i can be a pain sometimes, but franchesco, our waiter took it in stride, kibbitzed with us and gave us an excellent experience. a la prochaine C“

“We chose Sushi Sama over our usual restaurant because they have a much better variety of choices for vegetarians (both more items and more interesting ones). Their prices are also lower than most good quality sushi spots nearby (including our usual place). Our sushi arrived promptly at the requested time, and was absolutely beautiful - it's rare to get veggie options where as much care is put into the presentation as some of the more elaborate fish/seafood rolls. Each roll was delicious and packed with ingredients, with just enough rice to hold it together. The "Snowflake" with sundried tomato, cream cheese & avocado roll was particularly flavourful, but it would be hard to pick a favourite! The edamame maki, tempura yam and the futomaki specials were incredible, but so were the basics (e.g. avocado and oshinko hosomaki, and tamago nigiri). Will definitely be ordering again, and next time we're going to try the Bento box.“

They gave a decent amount of salmon and the poke bowl was really good. “I came in here to get something light for dinner. I got the spicy tuna and mango burrito, with the spicy mayo as my sauce choice. I walked 10 minutes to my hotel to eat it , and the wonton inside the burrito was still crispy. Overall, it was delicious, it hit the sushi craving, even though I love wasabi with my sushi. The ingredients were very fresh. The service was friendly, even though I wasn't in there very long. I asked why I was charged $19.50 when the price listed on the menu is $16.95, and apparently there's 15% tax in Quebec. Wasn't expecting that! The other menu items looked good, and innovative. I almost got the sushi tacos. I'd definitely go back.“
