“After reading a bunch of reviews about this specific location, I wasn’t sure I wanted to stop here for lunch. We ended up choosing to eat here anyway, and I was very pleasantly surprised given all of the terrible reviews about this place.

Our experience was exceptional. I was wondering if we may have gone to the wrong location (given all of the negative reviews) because service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We ordered at the self-serve kiosk and chose table service. Two kind young men brought our meals to us and were very friendly when they told us to enjoy our meal.

The fries were some of the best McDonald’s fries we had ever had. My Big Mac was tasty and everyone else at our table enjoyed their meal.

To anyone considering a visit to this location, please do not let any of the reviews left by the obviously miserable restaurant guests influence your decision to stop here. The restaurant was clean, the food was tasty and the service was excellent. The restaurant is in a great location given its proximity to the highway right between Gatineau and cottage country.

“We visited Sushi Fresh and it was a great experience for sushi lovers. Located in ByWard Market, the restaurant has a simple and cozy atmosphere that feels relaxed and welcoming.

The highlight was definitely the freshness of the sushi. The fish tasted clean and flavorful, while the rice had a good texture and balance. The presentation was neat and appetizing without feeling overly complicated.

Service was quick and friendly, and although the dining area is on the smaller side, it adds to the casual local-spot feel. It works well for dine-in, takeout, or a quick meal while exploring downtown Ottawa.

Many local diners also describe it as one of their favorite sushi places in Ottawa because of its consistency, generous portions, and fresh ingredients.

Overall experience was good.

Update: it's more expensive now and they go too light on the gravy. It's like eating a lightly marinated plate of fries. The popcorn chicken was also barely crisp and probably undercooked from frozen. It was fine; I was hungry.“

“This place was close to our hotel so we decided to try it. It is a little hole in the wall test kitchen with a counter with a few chairs. The staff were very friendly even though it was busy. The food was fantastic. The smash burger was fresh and so tasty. I'm not usually a big burger fan and never had a smash style burger before but I'm sure we'll go again before we fly home. The fries are also great. Luckily we saw someone else's order before we ordered as you get an entire sandwich bag of fries which were plenty of for the two of us. Good value and so yummy!“

“A nice place to have Mexican food. It is cheap but delicious. Portions are huge. Open buffet salad bar is a bonus. Plenty of options to choose from. Vegetarian options as well. Location is great, right in the middle of ByWard Market area. Parking is always a problem if you drive. Overall if you’re in the area you can go and eat there.“

Le pogo étais excellent, une petit touche maison ces évident la pate est vraiment bonne, rondelle d’ognion il En avais beaucoup, elle son très mince et la friture colle parfaitement au ognion ce qui est rare dans les autres casse-croute.
