I went at 7pm and there was hardly any queue, but I know from walking past it does get very busy at times.

“I really like Menchie's as a whole. They're got a good variety of flavours and toppings and I always end up spending less than I expect to. The servers are pleasant, if a bit inattentive and the patio is quite nice in the summer. The biggest problem with this location is that it often feels a bit run down. The machines are often a little wonky, often dispensing almost liquid froyo, there's sometimes garbage or sticky residue left around and the toppings, especially the cooled ones, are sometimes depleted. Though I think this just comes from the fact that the location itself is too small and understaffed for how busy it gets.“

It turned out to be a rainy day and they opened for the students so that the students wouldn’t be disappointed. My husband has missed having a good milkshake since he gave up lactose 20+ years ago and this is the first time we’ve seen a lactose-free option ANYWHERE. For God Shakes caters to a variety of diets with a list of dairy and dairy-alternatives sure to satisfy anyone in search of a sweet sip. We sampled the menu and ordered the lactose-free Dark Knight (an old school, simple chocolate shake), the decadent freakshake The Crispy Chip, a slice of carrot cake (vegan) and a Caramel Iced Coffee. Each beverage came in a glass jar or bottle, with a wide paper straw. Lids are available so you can take your shakes to go, and reuse the containers. If you return 10 bottles/jars you get a free milkshake! For God Shakes, this won’t be our last visit!“
