“We have been going to Patty's for decades , for birthday parties or just family or friends get together or singing in a choir before Christmas or listening to some good Irish music ..service has always been friendly and food reliably good. We have many good memories and it is fun to see the new generations enjoying it too . The sign of a great and well run place .“

“One of the best, most affordable, little hole in the wall spott in Ottawa. House special (which I’m convinced is just PBR) is $5.50 a pint, and the food is very reasonably priced as well. Service is great, bingo night is a blast and they always have a fun movie on in the background too.“

“Stopped in for a mid-week lunch with a large group. Food was a little slow with the large group, but service was friendly and attentive.
All of the food was delicious, with great sized portions. Great beer selection.
The atmosphere is great, too... Highly recommended!“

“Great place to catch all your sporting events, good selection of beers on tap, food is very good, and amazing friendly staff. I highly recommend the Philly steak sandwich. Located in the heart of the Sens “Red Mile” on Elgin St., this place will not disappoint :)“
“As a student at the University of Ottawa I would visit the pub often because not only it's the most convenient but, professors also find it the best place to have the informal gatherings after hardcore academic sessions.I hosted a techno night called Make Me Bad Mondays here for about one academic year. It was no success, I must say because people are not really into techno in Ottawa. But anyways I had my practice and here and there there would be really great moments when people appreciated the music.I was also part of the Ontario People's Interest Research Group where we organized Alt 101 week, International Worker's Day and a few other programs mainly focusing on introducing new local artists and bringing community together to chat about activism and so on.The setting is really accommodating for student events. I never got to turn it into a club for my weekly, which was a pity.But anyways, good ol Nostalgica.“

“We just came to sit and play and only got water. Ended up being $12 per person even for only 1 hour. Could have stayed a lot longer for the same price. Keep that in mind. Fantastic board game selection in good condition. Can buy games if you want, right from your table. Had a great old pub atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and makes sure you have what you need. I would highly recommend, and I would love to go again. Only real downside is no dedicated parking. It required a long time and a long walk to actually get to the location. Prepare for a long search and arrive well early if you have a date!“

“Just had an early dinner with an old friend and he suggested the Glebe Central Pub, which I had never been to before. The atmosphere was perfect for a small.pub, with a super friendly and sassy (in a good way) bartender. Unordered the taco trie and I have to say, that I was surprised by ow good they were! Great job glebe central!“

“Great spot for karaoke. Lots of participants. If you're from the Ontario side, expect lots of fun french songs.
Service could be faster, but it's mostly because the bar tender is also a performer and is well loved by all the regulars. So ya. You may have to wait an extra couple minutes.

“Continues to be one of the more wonderful watering holes in Ottawa. Since Covid, the menu is waay shorter, but the simple food is as good as it can be made. No zucchini sticks any more though ?. Terrific, interested service too. Strongly recommend as long you park a bit away and work up a thirst with a walk ?♂️“

“I cannot emphasize enough how the service at Mill St. Pub is remarkable! I had my second yearly event there last night and they are amazing! From the beginning of the planning with Christine to the on site staff who greeted and waited on us like we were family to the food that was absolutely delicious! The ambiance, the beauty of the building and the warmth of the staff make it the perfect place for any gathering! Thank you all soooo much!
