“Located in Decarie Square on the second floor, this little café has been here forever. My mom and I used to have coffees here decades ago and it was good then, with super nice staff, and it's good still, with super nice staff. Not fancy, very casual, with big white umbrellas over the tables, overlooking the balcony in this now-half-empty mall. My kid and I had a light lunch here the other day, ordering a turkey sandwich, some chocolate milk (for her, not me!), and a big hamantaschen cookie. The sandwich was surprisingly one of the best I've had in years: extremely fresh, with a generous amount of turkey, and on the best, freshest bread roll ever. My kid and I both commented how delicious and fresh it was. And who'd have thought they'd have hamantaschen here? This little café offers, along with their sandwiches and breakfast foods, egg rolls and empanadas and other so-called ethnic fare. And it all looked really good. Our cookie even had the traditional prune filling. Nice! Did I mention how inexpensive the foods are here? Very reasonable. I like it when good places don't change over the years.“

“Cute little cafe with a nice variety of food options that are of high quality. Service was amazing. I had a savoury crepe with chicken, cheese and mushroom and my friend had a tuna sandwich with a couple of the salads on the side and all of it was fresh and flavourful. “I took a manoushé for takeout, so I can’t say about dine in experience. However, I have eaten an unspeakable amount of manoushé in Montreal, and I can confirm this to be a top choice. “I don’t have the words to articulate how pleased I was with my recent experience here. We ordered a latte, an americano, and numerous baked goods, including mini pizzas, focaccia, and chocolate croissants. Everything was absolutely incredible! It is so rare to find a fully vegan cafe that offers this level of quality, especially at such a fair price point. Even though it was very busy when we visited, the employees were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. Absolutely phenomenal place with some of the best food I have ever eaten, and greatest coffee I’ve tasted. If I lived in the area I would surely visit every day.“

“One of my favorite cafes in this city. They make the absolute best coffees and even the decaf is amazing! Super fun italian coffee bar style with retro vibes. “Ive yet to find a cafe like Limoo. The place is beautiful a perfect ambiance with gorgeous furniture and so much seating space (even chargers.) The service was also spectacular you can tell the owner cares about quality and hires according staff. I had a Kabab sandwich and was just blown away, fresh and healthy ingredients and just so delicious def up there as my favourite montreal sandwich. I also had a detox sweet green smoothie and of course it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Limoo to everyone I know simply the best cafe.“

“Came here with friends and the mini crêpes were really delicious! We had 30 puffs and chose two of the recommended recipes, and they really disappeared within 5 minutes. The Professor recipe (banana, strawberry and chocolate) was just perfect for dessert after our heavy meal, not too sweet and light enough to enjoy without being too much, and the apple caramel recipe (which comes with a choice of ice-cream or whipped cream) would be awesome for anyone who likes apple crumbles, cinammon and fall style desserts. Coffee and oreo milkshake was good too. The price is great, and the owner was super kind and helpful. We'd arrived a little before the opening time and he generously let us stay inside, gave us a lot of time to choose and kindly answered all our questions. Really glad I came here! “The atmosphere was instantly welcoming with Diba and her father asking us about our days and giving us a run down of the cafe.Her mother's cakes, especially the pistachio cake, were heavenly. My boyfriend loved them so much that he expects to have them every time he comes back. The persian latte and the persian fog were decorated with love and have notes of pistachio and saffron.I am definitely going to try everything on the menu, but I just had to write this review because I felt that I had found a gem.“

We let our waiter who I believe is one of the owners curate a menu for our group of 6 at a price point that we set. Felt like we had a great variety of food and good portions and they were able to accommodate some items for my dietary preferences. The food was really good but what was the best was the service. “A snob place in Griffintown. You can't make a reservation but the hostess asks you if you have a reservation every time and looks at you in despair when you say no. The food is excellent. I had the pasta with bolognese sauce, which seems basic but when it's done well, wow. And Mano Cornuto set the bar high. My friend had a Caesar salad which is huge btw, but so good. The waiters are very qualified, explain their special in a way that you want to try it. Great cocktail. But go ahead with the idea that you won't be annoyed by the hostesses who give you a really bad welcome.“

“I had the pleasure of trying their cold brew coffee and their dark roast, both are exceptional. I also have tried their peanut butter jam ice cream, sooooo smooth and delicious, literally like you’re eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but WAY BETTER! I had their pickled eggplant which is the best I’ve ever had. We had two iced specials (Matcha Sakura and Hojicha Lavender), the black sesame cake, miso brownie, sencha madeleine, earl grey donut and matcha donut. “We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around“
