“First of all I’m just going to say I never leave reviews. Not that I don’t think the service or restos deserve it but I really just don’t think of it. I really felt I needed to make an effort because my expectations were exceeded and I totally believe the service ( and food ) need to be recognized. Me and my boyfriend often go eat in restos all around Montreal and one time we decided to go eat at Baton Rouge In GPK. Since then we have gone back and will continue to go back. The server , young gentleman that works on Monday and Tuesdays only , is AMAZING!!!! He is so attentive, ,friendly , efficient, and we could go on and on and on about how great he is. We never felt rushed and always felt taken care of . We had the porterhouse a few times to share and the t-bone once , and everytime it was cooked to perfection. The side dishes ( baked potato , seasonal vegetables and we always add added mushrooms ) were all amazing . My boyfriend, who is a big sea food eater , always takes the lobster tail , and claims it’s one of the best he’s had . The food was delicious and the service we had is really hard to beat . We would have never thought we would have had such a great meal/ service at Baton Rouge in GPK. We would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a tasty meal ( take the porterhouse or tbone to share ) , AMAZING service , with an intimate environment for a VERY reasonable price to Try it out!! Not sure how it is on the weekends , but if you go on a Monday or Tuesday u won’t regret it ! A great service goes along way and when there’s amazing food you can’t go wrong !!!!“

“The atmosphere is lovely, but that’s not why you come here. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it’s easily one of the best gluten-free bakeries in Canada. As a celiac, you know a place is special when you feel the need to ask three times—mid-bite—“This is gluten-free, right?” and for a moment remember what it was like to eat a real french croissant. The other great thing is, the prices here you are not getting. gauged for being a Celiac.Andrea was also amazing customer service, i thought she owned the place cause she went out of her way to help us and making a long time customer.“

“We had Iranian brunch here and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very authentic, exactly what you expect from a proper Persian brunch. Portions were generous and everything tasted homemade. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a nice spot if you’re craving Iranian food, especially for brunch. Highly recommended.“

Beautiful steamie and poutine with very dark gravy was served to me in a very reasonable amount of time. Service was fine. No idea how old this place is but it's definitely old. Wish them continued longevity.“

“I visited from the Greater Toronto Area and loved this bakery tucked away around Jean-Talon Market. The baked goods for the day are posted online. I got a baguette, half a brioche, and an almond croissant. The baguette was so good that I ate it in one sitting. I regret not buying another baguette. Prices here are also cheaper than in Jean-Talon Market. Loved it and can’t wait to try more when I come back to Montreal!“

“Was in Montreal for my anniversary and a friend recommended Taverne Sur Le Square and it did not disappoint. I had the house Mac and cheese and I will say this was the best version I've ever had. The cacio e pepe brussel sprouts was also delicious. Service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and recommend a visit to my friends and family.
