“First of all I’m just going to say I never leave reviews. Not that I don’t think the service or restos deserve it but I really just don’t think of it. I really felt I needed to make an effort because my expectations were exceeded and I totally believe the service ( and food ) need to be recognized. Me and my boyfriend often go eat in restos all around Montreal and one time we decided to go eat at Baton Rouge In GPK. Since then we have gone back and will continue to go back. The server , young gentleman that works on Monday and Tuesdays only , is AMAZING!!!! He is so attentive, ,friendly , efficient, and we could go on and on and on about how great he is. We never felt rushed and always felt taken care of . We had the porterhouse a few times to share and the t-bone once , and everytime it was cooked to perfection. The side dishes ( baked potato , seasonal vegetables and we always add added mushrooms ) were all amazing . My boyfriend, who is a big sea food eater , always takes the lobster tail , and claims it’s one of the best he’s had . The food was delicious and the service we had is really hard to beat . We would have never thought we would have had such a great meal/ service at Baton Rouge in GPK. We would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a tasty meal ( take the porterhouse or tbone to share ) , AMAZING service , with an intimate environment for a VERY reasonable price to Try it out!! Not sure how it is on the weekends , but if you go on a Monday or Tuesday u won’t regret it ! A great service goes along way and when there’s amazing food you can’t go wrong !!!!“

“We had such a wonderful experience at restaurant Gus! It is rare to hit all the key highs of a full experience - service, food, drinks, atmosphere, everything. From the personal touch of reserving, to the warm greeting, and professional friendly staff, the people make Gus special. We were a group of 3, sharing 3 apps and 3 mains, all delicious. “I've been wanting to experience Joe beef for a very long time. As you walk in, it felt very cozy and welcoming, as we were greeted by this very friendly hostess. The staff were efficient, and our waiter was great as well. He explained the menu in detail. We wanted to share some of the dishes as I knew it would be way too much food, and also because we've also ordered some appetizers. We took home so much food home, the portions for the shareable dishes were very generous. The wait for the food was on the longer side, as well as for the cocktails. Overall, the food was delicious, but my expectations were high, and I think I've expected a tad more, in some of the dishes.“

“J'ai été souper hier avec une amie on a pris une entrée à partager à deux c'était vraiment wow et délicieux crevettes frites bouchée de morues panées tatami au thon pieuvre huîtres tout était très goûteux! Le fish n chips panko était crispy et vraiment succulent l'autre personne à commandé un steak frites très tendre elle a adoré. le service était très bien et rapide et l atmosphère géniale on étaient sur la terrasse il y avait un chansonnier et cela a contribué à rendre notre expérience des plus agréable ! “was strolling around Verdun with no particular plan, just letting my instincts guide me… and wow, what a great decision it was to walk into I Am Pho! From the very first moment, the place gives off a warm and welcoming vibe — clean, cozy, and filled with that delicious aroma that instantly makes you hungry and curious to try everything.

We ordered a few dishes, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best Vietnamese food experiences we’ve had in Montreal. The flavors were perfectly balanced — tasty, authentic, and clearly prepared with care. The portions are generous (you definitely won’t leave hungry!), and the prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity they offer.

My husband ordered the beef pho, and I have to mention that it was the first time he ever finished an entire bowl — and that’s saying something, since he almost never eats meat! I tried a few bites too, and it was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, great texture, and a comforting broth that felt homemade.

Without a doubt, I Am Pho just gained a couple of loyal new customers. When food is made with passion and respect for the craft, you can taste it in every bite. This place is a hidden gem in Verdun that deserves all the praise it can get.

“Ce que je déplore souvent dans les beau resto chic est que les assiettes sont bien belle côté présentation mais presque vide côté quantité de nourriture. Chez Helena ce n'est pas le cas. Pour la qualité de la nourriture et la quantité c'est abordable. Les 4 cocktails proposé me convenait pas alors on m'en a créer un selon mes goût. J'ai jamais manquer d'eau pendant le repas et avec un service impeccable bref tout était parfait. J'ai beaucoup apprécier d'être bien conseiller dans mon choix de menu. Je voulais commander 3 plats pensant que tout serait petit et j'avais très faim mais le serveur m'a dit que les assiette était bien rempli donc il m'a suggérer de commencer par 2. Effectivement j'étais rassasier après mon entrée et le plat principale donc j'aurais gaspiller un plat et payer plus cher pour rien. J'ai jamais aussi bien manger et j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner. Autan dans le décor, la musique et les goût on voyage le temps d'un repas au Portugal. Je suis contente d'avoir parlé à la cheffe pour la féliciter de son resto, menu, décor et service impeccable.
