“Premier essai aujourd'hui pour deux : on a pris la soupe Pho Tai #10 et le poulet sauté à la citronnelle #33 et c'était vraiment trop bon. Le boeuf de la pho est vraiment tendre et les saveurs du #33 étaient immédiatement excellentes et au dessus de nos attentes à la première bouchée. Ils ont probablement le meilleur poulet citronnelle de Montréal, voir du Québec.“

“It's a clean and quiet restaurant when I visited at this location! I order a Pho dac biet there and it taste light but good ! The portion is ok for a regular size and the staff there was nice ❤️

“Checked out Bun Mam Ninh Kieu for a late weekday lunch. Food came out incredibly quick. A lot of hard to find dishes on their menu (bun oc, bun cha ca, banh khot, banh bot loc).
- Banh xeo ($17.00) - probably the best Vietnamese crepe I’ve had in a long time. Two large crispy portions with bean sprouts, shrimp, pork, onion and the usual side accompaniments
- Bun mam ($17.00) - shrimp, BBQ pork, fish, squid, eggplant and okra. Broth had good depth; liked the funky, slightly pungent flavour“

“Pleasantly surprised. As mentioned in other reviews prices are extremely hard to beat. For those with electric vehicles down the street below St Catherine's there are 4 level 2 chargers so you can charge your car while enjoying this restaurant for 1 dollar an hour charge rate. Hostess and staff are friendly. Lots of students here but I cannot blame them because the price is the best bang for the buck. I took an extra large number 5 with one imperial roll. Next time I will take 2 rolls as they were very good. All prices on the menu are tax in. So basically cheaper than the other Vietnamese restaurants I've reviewed. Now that I've read other reviews of this restaurant and have been I'd tm rather come here than the other locations I've reviewed in Brossard.“

“I stumbled upon this place on a weekend getaway with my husband. The bahn mi is so good that my husband and I picked up the grilled chicken and the classic ham bahn mi on friday night for supper and we went back again on Sunday for lunch before heading home. The bread is super fresh, delicious classic ingredients. So good. Would totally recommend and I will definitly be back. Service was quick, courteous and friendly.“

“Great neighborhood restaurant. I have been passing by since I moved into the area and was not disappointed once I decided to step in.
Our meal started with the imperial rolls (cha gio) and the papaya salad (without beef). The rolls were in my opinion the star of the night; generously filled and simply delicious. These are the imperial rolls you always hope for but rarely get. The papaya salad was fresh and well dressed - not spicy as their Thai counterpart usually is.
We followed our meal with bahn xeo - a crispy Vietnamese omelette/crêpe that was filled with chicken and a generous amount of bean sprouts, and Bun Cha Hanoi. The airy and crispy texture of the crepe is addictive to say the least and very enjoyable. The grilled bun cha meat was also very tasty!
In sum, Y Lan is a great restaurant where you can be sure to enjoy a great meal with great service.

“Happened to be in the area, walked in on a whim right before closing and i am so pleasantly surprised!! I got the tofu banh mi and it is huge and delicious. It checks all the boxes: the bread is fluffy, the pickled veggies are fresh, and the tofu is flavourful. The guy working here was also super friendly with a smile on his face. Thank you :))“

“Got the #20 clay pot fish with a side of rice about 4 months ago and it was so flavorful and fragrant I still think about it quite often. Owners were friendly and helping despite barely speaking an ounce of French or English and prices were more than fair. I wish whoever runs that place the best genuinely never close this place down ever.“

“I have not been here for a long time, the place looks cozy and extremely clean. Tried their special namdo soup and spring roll, very clean taste and decent price, was $20.50 for everything included, which is quite reasonable for how things cost nowadays. “Pho Thanh is excellent - very competitive prices, big portion sizes, and the flavour is very authentic. A lot of pho places now are charging more than $20 for a bowl of pho, and you just get a few small pieces of meat - but not this place. You won’t be disappointed as they don’t skimp on the portions. We can’t wait to order from here again.“

“Quite frankly nothing that hits like a good bowl of pho on a freezing cold night and this ruled. There was a guy there with a crazy twirly moustache too which doesn’t have much to do with the restaurant but it enhanced my experience. Might be worth hiring a guy with a crazy moustache to entertain customers in the future.“

“We came in for the food, and we left with a great impression of the entire team.
The food was great, and of very affordable price.
The staff was very kind to us, chatting with us when the had the time, and even offering us complementary tea. Anthony took the time to talk to us about the essence of the restaurant, how it's like a 2nd family to the staff, and you can really feel it in the way they interact with us.
I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a nice place to enjoy authentic vietnamese cuisine, in a relaxed and friendly ambiance.“

“If you want to have a basic meal in the center of Montreal, go to this place. It's located inside a big building at a food court with few other vendors, so you will get some choice. The meals are quite basic, pho soup is not as sophisticated as in other restaurants, but it's a good budget place to eat when you are touring Montreal. Walk around, there is a beautiful passage with a glass roof and a fountain, also some shops.

“Wow. Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant on the South Shore. Prices are more than competitive, and the owner, Tsao, was incredibly kind—she truly went above and beyond. She even took the time to sit with us and share her story and her passion for cooking, which made the experience even more special. What we had: 🍜 Pho – After trying hers, you’ll never want pho anywhere else. 🍗 Chicken noodles – Silky sauce, perfectly balanced. 🥢 Spring rolls – Absolute bomb. 🥟 Dumplings with peanut sauce – A must, especially with her homemade chili oil. ☕ Cold Vietnamese salted caramel coffee – You CANNOT leave without trying this 🤯 ⚠️ Warning: This place is highly addictive.
