“Really delicious sushis. It is my go-to. When I have exams or on my birthday, my mom surprises me with Sushiman sushi. Sushiman has become a special place to me because of the memories when I was gifted these sushis by my mom. The people who work here make it all the more special too. They are truly caring, welcoming, and sweet. The sushis are freshly made each day. Cleanliness is maintained.

My go-to sushi orders are "Crispy", "Crabe de Neige" (which is the same filling for Cripy sushi but the rice is inside rather than outside, "Salmon nigiris", "Avocado hosomaki", and recently I started liking the "Buddha wrap" and "Tuna tartare maki". In the picture I didn't order the previous 2 I mentioned but they're delicious.“

It would have also been my sensitive stomach. “Great service and food. Its a Japanese tapas style bar. Shrimp tempura is a must try ! Loved their options in Japanese drinks - cocktails, sake and also non alcoholic. Takoyaki, gyoza, kimchi and the mackerel was great ! Also tried the duck tataki, it was succulent and very flavorful! Karrage bites were big and the sauce was amazing. It was the first time I tried hot sake and it was fun to play the cup game with the host. This place can get super busy so its best to make reservations. Fun for a big group looking forward to catching up over drinks and snacks !!“

“Been ordering from this place for quite some time. Onigiris are very full with fish and other fillings. The torched ones are my favourite (Fuji special). The only thing is that the mini ramen came in a solid block and the texture was just off (i know this is a onigiri place but still). The flavour of the broth was still pretty good and the half egg was delicious.“

Royal Sushi is an essential address for sushi lovers, and has been for more than 10-15 years. I ordered there a good hundred times when I lived nearby, and their consistency in quality always impressed me. In this down tempo At Denis eatery their menu has a huge array of fair priced appetizers that are more than filling (and perfect for sharing) as well as ramen and bao and larger plates.

Their sake based cocktails and large selection of sake are impressive. And highly recommended are the grilled oyster mushrooms.

For me, attention to detail is what takes this place to another level - no ice in the water they serve you, the miso soup is dark, food is sometime served on long wooden planks for large groups. Awesome!“
