“Always a nostalgic meal at Chalet Bar-B-Q, a must-visit when we return home for comforting and familiar Montreal food, along with smoked meat and bagels, of course! The decor is dated but that is what makes it so charming. Chicken is always perfectly cooked – they are the only ones in Montreal still allowed to use charcoal, and their's is red cherrywood. It complete elevates the chicken. French fries are plentiful and perfect, especially with their nonstop supply of sauce. I want to also mention Tina, our server, who is joy personified and the most attentive waitperson imaginable. She took the best possible care of us and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces.“

“Most hilarious time of my life. First try with a friend, side dishes are amazing we loved it and had to refill 3 times 💜 had hard time cutting the meat and a server had to stop and cut it for me without me asking... we were hopeless😅😅😅thank you for the super service and another lady server answered all our questions about the meats helpful and really nice lady👌im going back for sure!“

“Visiting from NB and our cab driver recommended we try! We ordered the mixed plate with extra hummus, and halloumi plate. Everything was on point. Two of us could not finish the meal and had enough for both to eat for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly, environment was cozy. Highly recommend!“

“Although the restaurant has recently changed ownership (per their banner outside), for the most part the quality and portions are comparable to what they were before.
Decent value for a diner.
One downside we experienced is that their waffles (specifically) are a lot smaller than they were in the past.
Their breakfast / special breakfast plates remain great options though.“

“Take out only. Absolutely delicious.
Great idea for dinner, its easy to take out and they bring out the best of each meat.
Everything is prepared with care and love. Whatever the occasion is, this take out dinner will be a hit for sure.
Needless to say I am coming back soon.“

“First visit to Diablo's last night, will definitely be back. BBQ was delicious, service was friendly and attentive and atmosphere was exactly what one might expect for a BBQ joint - dark, woodsy and "Southern". A very fun and tasty experience overall and highly recommended.“

I loved how the two young servers who greeted us at the door were very smiley and friendly, although the one who took our order could've been a bit more patient

“Had an amazing experience at Rustik Sunday night thanks to the bartender with curly hair! Always so attentive and helpful and you can tell everyone loves her! I often avoid this place on the nights that the Asian looking lady with glasses works as she’s very rude and aggressive and seems to hate everyone in the world and will avoid giving back change by any means necessary assuming she deserves a 30% tip“

“We went to Bofinger BBQ last night to celebrate my birthday and I must say I enjoyed it.
I've been looking for a good place for Ribs and found it.
I took the combo beef and pork ribs with the medium spice, which was fantastic.
The owner was super nice, friendly and helpful.
I definitely will be back.“

“No stars for the atmosphere, it was delivery. Very good Country burger (without lettuce because I don't like soft lettuce on delivery). The only thing I don't understand is who the chef at the head office had the idea of putting 3 pickles in this burger? The acidity of these leaves an unpleasant aftertaste even after removing them. But it was still very good.“

“I had an excellent experience at Piri Piri Plateau Mont-Royal. Fatima and Victor were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. You can tell they care about both quality and customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and service!“

“Most authentic restaurant in the entourage. The food is delicious and yet affordable. their service is also top notch, I highly recommend! My personal favorite is their wonton soup, they make pork, shrimp and I think they can do a mix of both as well if you're not certain which one you want as they offered us last time!“

“The food here was truly amazing. We had the raw halibut which was similar to a ceviche, the muscles with the salsa which were my favourite, pork and beef skewers, as well as three different salads, the green mint bean salad, the salad with mixed greens, as well as the zucchini salad. We also had the grilled arctic char and the lobster risotto. The risotto portion, I expected to be larger esp as a main, but with all the food we had, we were full.“
