“The food was exceptional, EVERY bite was heavenly and you can tell that a lot of love, thought and great cooking is put into every dish served. BUT the real star was our server Kalina (forgive me if I spelled this wrong) she has curly hair, and adorable accent and she made sure every moment in there, we felt special, attended to, and heard. Kalina, you will remember us, the ladies toasting to Taylor Swift, and we love you!“

“Maison Boulud serves an excellent three course lunch for a mere 50 CAD. Five options to choose as a starter and main, and two as a dessert.

They also have an exquisite wine list, which is rather expensive, but if you explore the list you can find very good affordable wines.“

“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“

“Really good fancy-ish restaurant with some incredible food!

For appetizers, we got the oysters and we were really impressed with the plating, taste, and especially the horseradish garnish. But that didn’t even compare to how good the beef tartare was which we cleared real quick. It had a kind of French onion dip with either roasted potato squares or croutons (we couldn’t figure out which). I really hope I can try to replicate that or get it somewhere back home!

Then for the main course, my cousin got the lobster spaghetti, which was a lot of food so she shared some with us and it was really great! I got the roasted duck and peach which had a really good demi-glace sauce. The duck was very tender and meaty which paired well with the sweetness of the roasted peach.“

You’ll find a wide variety of restaurants and food types to choose from, all in a food-court style setting. The atmosphere is lively, and there are also bars serving drinks and cocktails.
Beyond the food, the market often hosts special events and guest chefs, so you can enjoy unique culinary experiences. Overall, a great spot for food lovers with plenty of options under one roof.

Do keep in mind that since it’s located downtown Montreal, parking can be a challenge. The easiest option is to use the indoor parking at the mall or other lots nearby, though some are less convenient.“

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“This is our 2nd time at Le Cartet. The waiter has such great memory and remembers our family. He is friendly and warm. We ordered Canton, Lac Brome and Nordique. “I love supporting restaurants that are part of a school. Students need to learn first hand.

ITHQ has a nice location and staff was very welcoming.

The magret de canard was what you would expect of the dish. We had turbot with couscous and strawberries, which I found a bit too sofistaced. I think that real talent shows when you can work with a limited number of ingredients.

All in all a nice experience.“

Après avoir expliqué la situation au gérant Sam, il me propose des shooters gratuits en compensation, ce que j'accpate directement! Malgré cela, il me sort de l'établissement en prétextant la fermeture du bar. Aggressivement, et sur un ton très condescendant, il m'informe que le bar doit fermer à l'instant, et que je dois quitter sur le champ... Je n'ai jamais reçu ce qui m'était du, et offert!! Personnellement, le bar: "Le madame smith" est un bar où je ne retournerai plus jamais, tant le service que pour le respect du client! -1/10 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼“

“A pretty unique place. Excellent selection of individual breads loaded with stuff (some sweet, some savory). The Mythique is excellent, so is the Choco Plaisir. The olive Fougase is always a sure bet. See the selection for that day of the week on their website (more selection as you get closer to the weekend).
Make sure to bring cash (debit ok, but no credit card).“

“J'ai passé de merveilleux moments au Huis Clos !
L'équipe est vraiment sympathique et à l'écoute. Le service est rapide et les cocktails sont délicieux et super beaux. Ils ont même des options sans alcool pour satisfaire tout le monde.

La cuisine y est délicieuse et magnifiquement présentée par leurs staff de cuisine qui prennent le temps de soigner nos assiettes. Des options végétariennes sont même disponibles.
J'ai eu un coup de cœur pour leur poêlée de champignons et leurs desserts savoureux.

Je recommande vivement que ce soit pour un groupe ou une personne seule, impossible de s'ennuyer, l'ambiance et le décor sauront vous charmer.
L'essayer c'est l'adopter !

“Always fresh and delicious food, not pricey at all. We have been coming since march for different occasions (brunch, lunch, dinner) and we feel like home. The waiters are so welcoming, Javier (the manager) is always there to check that everything is in perfect condition. This place has nothing to envy to other brunch places in the zone and your are paying almost the half of the price. Always a spot to sit and always ready to give their best.
