A fine restaurant in the Sofitel main floor with superb dining, a professional, friendly, attentive and very accommodating staff is a must while visiting Montreal.
We went for Sunday brunch at the Sofitel's Renoir restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed. Compared to Sunday brunch at the Fairmont's Roselys restaurant, the food is equally good but the ambience at the Renoir is more spacious and relaxed, which we prefer.
Overall we enjoyed our evening. The service was excellent The food was excellent The setting however, wasn't ideal. I thought it would be more of an intimate place. I didn't know it was in a hotel. Sort of open to the lobby and the traffic around the tables was a bit too much. Again, service was top notch and the food was exceptional.
