Came here for brunch with my friends and we loved the trendy style/ambiance of the place.

We each ordered a specialty platter, where they ranged anywhere from $15 to $23. I personally got the Mont Royal, which I'd highly recommend.

It was a very flavorful omelette packed with meat and peppers, and it was great with the home fries and bread. Despite the bagels being from Fairmont, they were pretty disappointing. Get the challah! Side note, the french toast was DELICIOUS.

The service was also great! The waitress noticed I had an empty water bottle from outside and offered to refill it. I was very impressed since I've never been asked that before lol. However, it took quite a while to get the bill because the restaurant was so busy.

Despite the restaurant's name, if you skip the bagel, I'd highly recommend getting brunch here!“

“I've only been here once but it's the only brunch place I've been to that doesn't want to rip you off for fired eggs and bacon.
I also had the lobster roll which is either are trap or Montreal's best kept secret.

“Lively place that’s quite busy on a Sunday morning. Got a place at the bar but managed to move to a table close to the window. The waiter was a bit hectic as he was running around all the time while the other waiters took it more relaxed which creates a nicer atmosphere. Anyway - maybe that’s his personality… the food arrived after a few minutes - was good not really a wow moment. The filter coffee doesn’t taste at all so let’s wish for other coffee styles to have a taste. Overall ok experience - no need to repeat (at least for me)“

“The name says it all. Huge range of egg and pancake dishes for breakfast. My Benny’s Benedict with smoked beef and a haggle was very good. The poached eggs done perfectly and runny. The cappuccino was a proper one. Service by our waiter Francis was friendly efficient and great. Prices seem perfectly reasonable.“

Pulled up to L’Oeufrier with 8 hungry humans and left with full bellies and zero regrets. The staff deserve a standing ovation they handled our chaos like seasoned brunch warriors. Fast, friendly, and somehow remembered all our weird orders (extra crispy bacon, no onions, add love).

The vibe? Chef’s kiss. Cozy, colorful, and full of good energy like a warm hug with maple syrup. The food was outrageous in the best way: huge portions, bold flavors, and enough options to keep even the pickiest friend quiet.

“We stopped in on a weeknight after wandering around the Plateau and ended up staying almost two hours just chatting over coffee. My husband ordered the almond croissant and said it was flakier than half the ones we tried in Paris last year. The staff never rushed us out even as they started closing up around us, which we really appreciated. Cozy little spot, warm lighting, exactly the kind of place we look for when we are out sightseeing all day and just want to sit down for a bit.“
