The eggplant is pleasantly not excessively oily as is found in most other Persian restaurants.“

“Like having a baguette in Paris but with way better service. Staff is always kind, courteous and efficient. The croissants and chocolatines are buttery and flaky and their chouquettes are like eating buttery sugary air. A must try in my books“

“Good spot for casual drinks and tacos. The tandoori chicken taco was delicious, and the shrimp taco was solid too. The spicy margarita was a bit too intense—go classic if you're not into heat. Atmosphere was decent, service friendly, and prices fair.

“Visited from NY and stocked up on all the baked goods. Insane that they are gluten free! So flaky and tender. Shocking, really. Would love to understand the sorcery of how such gluten free perfection was created. Will be making regular trips to stock up again.“

“A pretty unique place. Excellent selection of individual breads loaded with stuff (some sweet, some savory). The Mythique is excellent, so is the Choco Plaisir. The olive Fougase is always a sure bet. See the selection for that day of the week on their website (more selection as you get closer to the weekend).
Make sure to bring cash (debit ok, but no credit card).“

Beautiful steamie and poutine with very dark gravy was served to me in a very reasonable amount of time. Service was fine. No idea how old this place is but it's definitely old. Wish them continued longevity.“

The owners of Vegâteau, Marc-Olivier and Jeremy, have taken the time to perfect special recipes so all their family members with different dietary needs can enjoy ALL these scrumptious treats. Perfect for a Low FODMAP diet!! My husband (who can eat anything, no dietary restrictions) was also super impressed with the delicious tastes and textures. After visiting over 100 coffee, pastry and bakery shops in the last 16 days in Toronto and Montreal, this was by faaaaaaar the absolute BEST!! My personal favorite: Paris-Brest!!! How many desserts can you try in 3 days?!? Lots! It's a good thing we were only near this bakery for a limited time or my waist line would have been in serious trouble. Yummy!!! 😋“

Amazing personable service, the menu has something for everyone which is hard to do and their specials are seasonal and delicious.

Now the wines, they have a great and extensive wine list with great price points PLUS a huge cellar list. If you love wine you must come here and be treated to a great evening of food and wine.

Oh and the dessert menu is superb. Love restaurants where it's hard to choose what to eat because everything sounds and is delicious.
