I recently ate at this simple but welcoming place, and I'm delighted to share my review. The food was spectacular: tasty, fresh, and very generous in quantity. For seafood lovers, this place is a true paradise. In addition, it is a fishmonger where you can also eat or order takeaway. I highly recommend to those looking for a good seafood meal without pretension but with great taste.“

“My second time in less then a month (May & June 2023). The portion is huge, the quality is excellent. We took the Mega meal at 199.99$CAD (Mega family portion) with calamari plate at 17.99$CAD... everything was excellent or great. Hope they will continuted those portion & be honnest in their price. It's a must to go. They have much other things in their menu at 20$CAD or more... fo my case, it was a birthday issue (small group). It's a ***** (5 stars) for sure :)“

“We had such a wonderful experience at restaurant Gus! It is rare to hit all the key highs of a full experience - service, food, drinks, atmosphere, everything. From the personal touch of reserving, to the warm greeting, and professional friendly staff, the people make Gus special. We were a group of 3, sharing 3 apps and 3 mains, all delicious. The 2 desserts were equally delicious. The margaritas were great too! The atmosphere was fun, lively and comfortable.“

“We love going to Au Vieux Duluth resto in St-Eustache. This one is our favourite location by far. Our server Billy is always friendly and professional. Went this weekend with my family and I had the chicken brochette with the works (potatoes, rice and salad). The escargots and pikilia plate as starters were also very good. You can bring your own wine and the plates are always full. Affordable and delicious.“

“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars“

“Avis assez partagé... Le décor est vraiment bien, c'est très invitant. Pour ce qui est du menu, beaucoup d'items étaient non disponibles autant sur menu bouffe que alcool. La nourriture était correct sans plus, le prix de ceux-ci étaient assez élevé pour la quantité de nourriture dans l'assiette. Nous avons mangé de la pieuvre qui n'était pas du tout fraîche, assez décevant je dois dire. Notre serveuse était très sympathique et l'ambiance qui y a plus tard est super. J'y retournerais en fin de soirée prendre quelques verres avec une entrée ou 2 sans plus!“

“It's our 1st time here, we came to celebrate our 36yr wedding anniversary, we definitely came to the right place. The mixed seafood platter was to die for! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

I highly suggest reserving and pre-ordering the Peking duck, lobster, or Vancouver crab. Unlike many Chinese restaurants, service is excellent here. The free parking after 5 is also appreciated. Decor is casual-chic. And also unlike other Chinese restaurants, the place is spotlessly clean. I'm so glad Piment Rouge is back. It's a great place for a casual meal or a big celebration. “We went Saturday evening and the food is still good, steak with pepper and mushroom sauce, Caesar salad, Greek potatoes, fries, rice, everything is delicious :) The waiter, I forgot his name, but we were there table no 31, very friendly, smiling, very attentive despite the large crowd and from what I understood there was a lack of staff and even if the service was very long almost 1 hour, I have nothing negative to say.
We were in a hurry because we had a show planned, we were afraid of arriving late but the understanding of the waiter brought us dishes very quickly to bring the leftovers that we didn't have time to finish and our bill allowed us to to arrive on time. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out.For my main course, I ordered the sea bass, and it was exceptional. The fish was cooked to perfection – tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was spot-on, complementing the natural taste of the sea bass without overpowering it. There is a daily menu when you eat at the restaurant. With soup, fountain drink and dessert included. Really cheap for a restaurant in 2024!

If you want something fancier, go elsewhere, but otherwise, for real, it does the job!

Poutine is not recommended, it is grated cheese (quite weird for a poutine in a restaurant in Quebec…). But otherwise, the rest is fine!“

“My picky daughter cleaned up her kids menu plate, which almost never happens.
The Perfect Sour cocktail is perfect: easy to drink, not too sweet, not too sour, not too much alcohol, causes relaxation, without making you sad or drunk.
Margarita cocktail is about ten times stronger than what is usually served in US though.“

“Friend of ours thought it was time we try out this restaurant that she frequents. So we jumped in the car and made our way to Laval and sat in this very well decorated restaurant that made you feel at home in a calming environment, you know the one, no kids and no dogs barking. The music volume was set just right, where you were able to have a lovely conversation among friends. Great atmosphere to enjoy your meal that you will definitely talk about on your drive home. You are now wondering why I talking so much about the restaurant itself and not the food? How many times have you dropped hundreds of dollars for a special occasion and the restaurant had the music so loud you couldn’t tell your server what you are ordering. People all raising their voices so they can carry a conversation? Well now lets talk about the food, the pictures will speak thousands of words. I highly, and I mean highly recommend the BBQ octopus, the Prime Rib and the lobster tails were 10/10 eyes closed. The Rib Steak was cook properly medium rare but I like to have it basted with warm butter and finally two last were calamari could have stayed one more minute and Lamb Chops touch over by one minute but all in all I highly recommend Sterlings Steakhouse for those special occasions.“
