“Definitely the best place in Quebec to eat Korean chicken!!
If you like onions, you absolutely have to get the chicken with onion cream sauce! It's by far the best onion sauce compared to other places in Quebec, it's authentic!

In the photo, it's half a chicken, onion cream sauce. The portion is for a very large appetite or for two people.

The owner is super nice and welcoming. :)

If you wish to consume take out, call before, because the preparation and cooking time takes around 15-20 minutes depending on what you order and the quantity.

I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere simply because it is not an "atmosphere" restaurant. It's more like a "take out", you arrive, you order, you wait at a table and you eat when your order is ready.”

“Came across this quant Cafe. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Tables filled with families, friends, and individuals. A guy was playing his guitar while having a coffee. I had an orange juice, a latte, and a butter croissant. Spent $13, with tip included! The orange juice hit the spot. The latte felt like home. The croissant was perfectly crisp and buttery. The staff were so friendly. My French is horrible. They noticed the struggle and spoke to me in English. Much appreciated after a night of drinking. I highly recommend it!”

“Patisserie la Chouquette is a truly rare find in Quebec City. Its simple and minimalist decor perfectly highlights the most important aspect: the quality and sophistication of its creations. Each bite is a surprise and explosion of complex flavors. It's clear that the fresh fruits, high-quality chocolates, and the expertise of well-trained chefs cannot be compared to the industrial products of their competitors. If you like fast paced places, to eat in hurry to go somewhere else, you should try another place, maybe a franchise. This is not the right place for you that can eat whatever... What's most surprising are the prices. For such high quality, you would expect to pay much more, but that's not the case here. The coffees and lemonades are perfect to these delicious treats. I had a lavender lemonade that was delicious! The open kitchen is also a show in itself. Watching the chefs at work ensures total transparency and demonstrates a great deal of confidence in their craft. Sorry but I ate before I could take a picture. I was focused in the most important thing, instead of wasting my time with a phone. I will go there for sure whenever I have the opportunity. La Chouquette is a pleasant surprise in a world of bakeries that are often predictable and lack character.”
