“Amazing soup dumplings! We’ve tried the original pork, pork and snow crab and chicken - get the pork and snow crab!!!!!! There’s a good variety of items on the menu including vegetarian. They even have some lunch specials for Monday to Friday. Food doesn’t take too long to arrive and its so worth the wait! Come early or be prepared to wait - it’s not a very big restaurant and they’re busy.
Will return again when I’m in Montreal next :)“

“We went here with our toddler and baby, the atmosphere was good, good decor, good service as well. We ordered the cucumber appetizer, cold beef slices with cilantro, spicy Braised Beef with noodles, everything was delicious! My fave was also their pan fried pork shrimp Cilantro. Our new fave spot for Dumplings and noodles in brossard.

“Really cozy and charming spot near mount royal. I discovered this place accidentally because there very little advertising. It looks like an apartment but actually a cozy restaurant. Small and quiet place with great food. The menu is nice, service is great. We had 2 plates. One steamed and one fried. The friend dumplings were better. We will be back for sure.“

“Perfect noodles for a great price.
They are super popular with tourists, there is always a queue but it goes fast. The food is worth it and it the quality and fair prices have maintained their standards even after being such a popular spot for so long. This is very admirable in an age of everyone squeezing products as much as possible. My go to place for noodles. Really recommend the Dan Dan or the braised beef with thick noodles!“

“Food is good but we always pay for extra noodles and large size and usually its enough but the past 3 times we came, the portions of noodles in the bowl and the number of slices of beef have decreased. Wait time used to be 5-10 mins but lately it has become 30 to 45 minutes for your soup noodles to arrive, it has become pretty ridiculous :(
Update on June 9, 2026:
Service has much improved since my last visit and the waiter checked on me to see if i am happy with my order… (since I always order Large size with extra noodles). As a customer, I much appreciate they come to check on me if my order and portion size was okay. The server tonight is great! Hope we see the server who worked tonight working in this restaurant more often. It’s not every waiter in this restaurant that does this“

“I am on my bachelor party in Montreal and came here with 12 people. The dumplings were some of best I’ve had and the price was very reasonable. We loved what we got the first run we got another round of the same (we had a massive appetite). Only downside was they ran out of beer while we were there but for large groups they were extremely accommodating and it was an awesome place for a group meal.“

“Delicious food at affordable prices. Wait is a bit long. Nonetheless the wonton soup was a great portion for only $9.99. The Classic Siomai were huge and filled with tasty sticky rice, beans and ground meat. Service and decor are rather utilitarian (although they do have some plants against the wall). The food is where it's at!“

“I ordered via doordash. The Pork BBQ was delicious! Not too sweet and melts on your mouth. Perfect ratio of fat and meat. The order is also generous got the combo Pork BBQ and Rosted Pork. The combo order is good for 2 people unless you eat a lot, but it doesn't matter. I was planning to eat just half and save the other half for dinnner, but it was so good I ended up cleaning the plate LOL.“

“Les Momos has the best momos in Quebec! I have never had momos this fresh and delicious before. Every bite was full of flavor, and you can really taste the quality. The spring rolls were also amazing—crispy, fresh, and a must-try!

“We are looking for a place to eat after being on the plane for more than 10 hours, and this place definitely hit the spot! Even from Chinese standards, I will say the taste is pretty authentic and definitely high quality. You can taste the freshness since all dumplings are made freshly on the site. We especially like their lamb dumplings and cold dishes. The staff are also very friendly!“

“English version follows Lotus Bleu est mon restaurant préféré à Montréal. Je suis chinoise et chaque fois que je viens ici pour manger, j'ai l'impression que je suis chez moi. Les plats ici sont vraiment authentiques. Mon plat "nouilles de haricots en cristal" est mon préféré! Lotus bleu is my favorite restaurant in Montreal. I am Chinese. Whenever I come here to eat, I feel like home. The dishes here are really authentic. My favorite dish is Crystal bean noodles.“

“Ordered take out. Food was great and happy to find authentic Xinjiang style lamb.
Small note regarding ordering the big chicken plate for take-out. Even well wrapped, the sauce would over flow, and the paper bag wouldn't hold it. I recommend putting half the sauce in a separate container.“

“My first time eating at Fay Wong and I will definitely be back!
As soon as you walk into the restuarant, there's a delicious aroma that welcomes you. We were greeted by friendly staff. I had a lot of questions about what comes with the combo and the staff was knowledgeable.
My fiance told me to get a combo because it's a good deal. The meal comes with your choice of soup (wonton or sweet and sour), plus eggroll or spring roll. It also comes with vegetables and rice. For an extra $1, you can change the white rice to noodles and I believe fried rice.
I had the shrimp combo and changed the rice for noodles. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and they were large! I think there was about 8 shrimp. The noodles were mostly soft but there was some crispy noodles too-I love all types of noodles!
The wonton broth was flavorful and the eggroll was crispy!
I'm born and raised in Vancouver and this meal reminded me of the Chinese food I loved in Vancouver. I've been living in Ottawa for 11 years and never had a decent Chinese food meal. I'm moving to Montreal soon and for sure will be coming to Fay Wong for Chinese food!“

“They have 2 options: AYCE & à la carte. We took AYCE, more options and Good pricing. servers were very nice and helpful. Food was rlly good, fresh and hottt. They have a salad bar and dessert, not much options for those but they were still good. All i can say is that we devoured the food:), will be backk!“
