“We chose Dog Watch in Stonington to celebrate our 30th anniversary and is always so welcoming, our server was Sara and she took very good care of us. My husband had soda and I had a spicy watermelon margarita which was delicious. I started with a shrimp and roasted corn chowder . We both had an order of our favorite clams casino.My husband had his favorite lobster blt . We shared an order of bang bang shrimp and my main course was the Dog Watch salad. For dessert we had limoncello and key lime pie. Everything was delicious. The evening was a lovely memory. We look forward to our next visit.“

“This restaurant was recommended by a friend and little did we know we drive by it all the time. The food is absolutely delicious! We had the tagliatelle, burger, butter board, and cocktails. Pasta was cooked perfectly as well as the burger. Butter board was amazing. Perfect sized portions. Great ambience and great prices. This will be our new go to place! Just wish we found it sooner. “Last evening I had what is possibly the best meal I’ve ever had in our area of SE Connecticut. We had the Tasting for Two at Whitecrest Eatery - Pork Schnitzel with Buttered Peas, Roasted Root Vegetables, and Lingonberry Compote. Absolutely everything was fresh, including the meat. The Schnitzel was light as a feather, the coating crisp, and the pork juicy and clean tasting. The peas were so delicious, I could have eaten a whole pot of them. I didn’t know food could taste this marvelous! Service was great, even the music playlist was fabulous! The dessert, Lemon Ice Cream with a raspberry reduction and crumbled cookie, was, again, light and refreshing, obviously fresh made. It was what I imagine dinner in heaven would be like.“

“I hadn't been here in a few years. I remember the last time the food was just so so, it might have been a different management at that point. So I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was absolutely delicious.“

“We were a party of four on a Friday night at 7:30. People filled the place by 8:30. There was a $15 cover to see Take it to the Bridge. The sound in the place is fantastic and the band was awesome. We also ate dinner from the cafe. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich with house chip that was on the specials menu for the night (mild, medium, hot) $17. The sandwich was very large, cooked perfectly and it was delicious. I ordered it spicy hot, but it had no spice at all. There was a slight taste of ranch, I think they spread some on the bun. The waitress didn't come over to ask how everything was so I didn't get a chance to get hot sauce of any kind. I also tried the panko chicken sandwich, which was also excellent. The chicken was lightly battered, it was pretty much had the texture of a grilled chicken sandwich. It had lettuce, tomato, pickles, aioli, and bacon. The chicken was tender and juicy and the bacon was crispy. I would recommend going for the music and the food. The menu is small, but has plenty of healthy and not so healthy option to please a wide variety of tastes.“

“I have been dining at Wood River Golf for over 10 years maybe even closer to 20 they have had their ups and downs especially during "C". Dinner this past Saturday night was fabulous. Their chicken parmesan is still the best around. I can say with confidence I have never had a bad meal there. Prime rib Saturday was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend! I know everyone has been struggling to find good help but thank the Lord they have a strong family support system and a wonderful bartender who has always been loyal.“

“So much fun even if you are a terrible bowler. Went with a group for a fundraiser. Pitchers of beer, mixed drinks, and food available at the lanes. Great for parties. Connected sports bar with bar food and tons of tvs to watch any sport you wish. Enjoyed the nachos and quesadillas. Fun time!!“

“Our waiter, Brian, who was also the hostess and bus boy at the time, was amazing! He was helpful, took his time explaining the menu with us and one of the best waiters we've had. The calamari was hot and delicious, and my fish tacos were delicious. We would certainly go back if we are ever in the area, so hats off to the chef and Brian. “It's absolutely one of the best breakfast stops we've ever made. The staff was so friendly and they were kind enough to find us a spot. I recommend reservations for this spot. It's extremely small and very busy, but it's quaint and cozy. The food was to die for. I don't know what they put on the homefries, but they were delicious. The blueberry pancakes are a must try if you stop. I'm definitely going again with reservations.“

“I have gone to Sam's shack for years ...always enjoyed the sun and the parking attendant was always a hoot. We have since became friends. They have a wonderful lifeguard on duty at all times throughout the week. Good food at the shack . Breakfast and lunch or snacks ?. Plenty of parking also $20Parking: Very good parking area. “A trip to Westerly from CT to pick up a prom dress brought us here because Ramen and noodle restaurants are hard to find near us in New London County. We had to park street side, and we were the first ones there when they opened. Greeted immediately and we started with the pan-fried Dumplings. PERFECT! So nice we forgot to take a pic. We then had a lovely Mojito-styled mocktail and then on to the main dish of "drunken and black sauces" over our Ramen. The portions are perfect, we took some home. Packed with flavor and very fresh ingredients. I would love to know where they get their produce from it was super fresh and the fruits in our desserts (sticky rice and fried ice cream) were of the best quality! I never order two desserts, we usually share one but we made an exception this day. So glad we did! The atmosphere is quaint and limited in space, the staff is super amazing and helpful. I am so glad we found this Noodle Restaurant, we plan to come here anytime we are in Westerly. Locals are so lucky!!“

“Normally we have good luck here, but not tonight! Sat at the bar, ordered a chicken ceaser salad with extra hot chicken(thinking I would get at least warm chicken). Nope cold chicken. We had a woman who I've never had before ask what kind of dressing I wanted on my caesar salad. At that point I knew I was in trouble.We got our food, I did not eat any of it due to the COLD chicken, woman never came back to check on us, never realized I ate none of it. Asked for boxes and still said nothing. Unbelievable.“

“We had an awesome experience we met the new manager Lindsay, She was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our food. My friend got boneless chicken breast wrapped in lettuce, I got the buffalo chicken sandwich And we got truffle fries on the side. They also sell fair trade certified Maine root. Certified organic root beer. We will definitely come back and try this again. We are coming from Massachusettes. I get five stars for everything. Also I wanted to add the place is so clean and the girl cooking in the back Nelly looks like she actually likes her job ?“

“I've been here before as well, but this time we visited for my mom's birthday. Brought our two young kids (6&8). All of the food was amazing! We got the nachos for an appetizer, soup, salad, cod, eggplant parm, and the kids got a burger. I think they may have the best nachos I've ever had before. And I love my nachos ? Will definitely be going again when we're in town.“
