“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“I visited about a week ago to grab food quickly before boarding my cruise. I was in a hurry because the cruise boarded soon, and I let them know. Despite being a bit short-staffed, they were very understanding and got me my food very quickly. Also, the fries are delicious! Thank you for being so patient and understanding.“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“Classic dark interior low lighting cocktail lounge. Our party of four enjoyed a mix of cocktails and a couple of beers at reasonable prices. Only a brief visit on this occasion as it was the one for the road as they say but would definitely return when I have more time.“

Prices are also affordable and the quality of the ingredients was really good. “Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“Loved the scallop roll and fries with GH seasoning. Cross between a barn mi and lobster roll. The bread was perfection warm , soft, buttery on the inside. Right amount of crust on the outside. The scallops were delicious. The seasoning on the fries made them stand out and complemented the roll. Staff were attentive, kind and helpful.“

It almost feels like your not even in Providence anymore.Started off with some apps, i got the Spicy Shrimp( the sauce on the shrimp was very very good!) and the calamari. I personally dipped my calamari in the spicy shrimp sauce but thats a conversation for a different day.Unfortunately i didn’t get to have my drink in a flamingo or a lil piggy but thats ok. The drinks were very good!The Chicken Milanese was a bit too thin (my opinion) but it was good.The steak was cooked to perfection, the mushroom risotto was very very good too. Im definitely getting the tomahawk next time i come.“

“Cheryl and I dined with friends last night at Casa Azul Taqueria at 840 Allens Avenue in Providence. Although the place is small, with just three tables and primarily offering takeout, the food is fantastic, featuring great vegan options. We're definitely going back!“

“We had a great experience at Fleur last night in Providence. We started out sitting at the bar, enjoyed some excellent cocktails, and had great service from the start. We ended up staying right at the bar for dinner, and the food did not disappoint — everything was very good. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside, with a great atmosphere, and the valet parking makes it incredibly easy, especially being right in the city inside the hotel. Overall, a really enjoyable night and a place we'd definitely return to.“

“So, last night I needed to have a business meeting with a business partner that wanted to stay out of downtown after working all day in the city. We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. Check them out (in between food truck visits)!“

“Believe it or not, I'd never tried Indian food until recently. I'm usually not one for spicy stuff, but this place was so close to home, and I was feeling adventurous, so I figured, why not? And let me tell you, I was genuinely blown away by what I ordered! My girlfriend, who knows her Indian food, totally nailed the recommendation. It was this amazing chicken dish with a creamy, orange sauce, and some perfectly buttered naan on the side. I can't remember the exact name, but I sure won't forget that taste! I'm definitely going back to try more of their menu.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Amazing drinks and beautiful moody vibe“

“The Lobster Benny on the brunch menu was really delicious! The rich, creamy, and slightly acidic flavor of the hollandaise sauce combined perfectly with the savory and sweet flavors of the lobster.

The steak and eggs were also excellent. The garlic pan gravy took the dish to the next level.

Our table wasn’t ready until a little over ten minutes after our reservation time, so we hung out at the four-seat bar next to the host station for a bit.“

“We just came by boat with two little kids not realizing the new fall hours. The employee working saw them peaking into the window and was so kind bringing them each out doughboy donuts. It was such a generous and thoughtful gesture that truly made these two little kids day! We look forward to coming again in the spring (during hours your open)“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!“

“What a fun spot! They have so many great liquors to try and games to play if you want to hang with friends. We didn’t get to try any cocktails but the menu looked great. “Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“I recommend Le Central in Bristol, my wife and I thought the food was excellent, from the appetizer, onion soup, the main course ( I had the Coq an Vin my wife had the Cod Chowder ) right thru to the dessert apple tart and bread pudding. Not only that the coffee was great.
Service was very good. Atmosphere was perfect with background music but we could easily hold a conversation.“
