“My first experience here. I have to say the service (Megan) was amazing! She knew everything on the menu and then some. Was an excellent Bartender . The portions were BIG and delicious. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed“

“A basic pub with great food and service. My baked cod was delicious! I was very happy with the size and quality of the side salad. My wife had the grilled bratwurst sandwich from their Octoberfest menu. It came on a pretzel roll which she loved. Their dessert list is awesome. We look forward to returning.“

“Happy 2026. We usually get take-out from The Wave every week AND also dine-in every week. Everything from Pizza to Fish & Chips to Clam Chowder, Clam Cakes, Chili, Garlic Bread. All of the food here is consistently delicious. Lots of televisions and very clean restaurant. The staff and the cooks are always really nice! Thank you.“

“Amazing food and incredible view my server was amazing and respectful. but I was a little uncomfortable with how the hostess completely ignored me and only talked to my husband for seating, but I was happy she was respectful at the end and finally acknowledged both of us.“

“Food was great. However, we were virtually forgotten by our server. We waited ten minutes for her to ask if we would like a drink. When we got our appetizer from a runner she never came to check on us and my husband had to get up to find some to get an additional piece of silverware. We finished our meal and waited a half an hour to be visited. We asked for to go containers and watched her to serve two other tables before coming back ten minutes later with them. To give context we were sat at 6:15 and did not leave until 8. For two people who didn't get cocktails or dessert.“

“Consistently the best live music spot in Providence these days. One of the last great Blues/Jazz/Rock clubs in Providence and all of R.I.“

“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“
“The club itself was great, live music was incredible but there happened to be some creepy guys out when my partner and I went. Reported the guy who touched my friend inappropriately to security and they handled the matter correctly. Shoutout to the staff!“
“One of the coolest bars in the state - and definitely in Pawtuxet Village. A hipster sea captain hang out with great cocktails and some of the chillest vibes around. Piña coladas in the summer are the best, but good beers and cocktails year-round.. and just a short stroll to the bay means there's often a salty breeze to round it the legit nautical feel.
The decor is a more upscale version of Capn Seaweeds (no shade on them - think quirky mad mariner vibe) and still feels cozy. Unlike her sister bar, The Avery, which is blessedly TV-free (which I LOVE!), this place has one TV - but it's actually fairly unobtrusive and pretty fun (they often screen funny nautical things like Boat Zone).“
“My dad and I went to Jack’s Family Restaurant this weekend. My dad and I live in Pennsylvania, but with recent family events we’ve found ourselves in Rhode Island a few times within the last month. My dad said Jack’s looked “the same as it always did,” and he smiled the entire time. We ordered the little necks casino, clam cakes, clam chowder, and seafood zuppa (and we splurged and got the lobster). Everything was great! We thank the staff and chefs for a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind. The food was delicious, and quickly delivered to us to be devoured. We had a wonderful experience & will definitely be back. ❤️☺️“

“This is a nice neighborhood place to stop in for a bite / beverage. The food is good, as is the atmosphere. We came in before heading to the Comedy Connection up the street and had an order of sliders and some "pickys." If you're in the area, stop in. I think you'll enjoy it.“

“Moved in across the street recently and have been in a couple of times already and will definitely be back often. nice place, great food and terrific staff. 👍“
“Love this location!! We expected the same great Fiesta food as the other locations but were pleasantly surprised to find that this location had some differences - such as margarita flights, tequila flights! The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the tequila options. Shoutout to our awesome server Kay and the bartender Adrian who helped us pick out our tequila favs! The atmosphere is also really great - gorgeous bar and ambiance. Kat was awesome!“
“One of the oldest pubs in the United States, just not the same name lol. The Son's of Liberty drank here! They still serve Half-Yards! A beer drinkers Mecca they have dozens of bottles and draft options. Priced right. One caveat, they haven't painted since the Son's drank there so keep a sense of humor. Great place for some suds. I've been a customer for over thirty years.
Dietary restrictions: As long as it's beer or whiskey you are good!
Kid-friendliness: Not!“

“My family has been going to the Son’s since my grandfather (Papa Lou) moved across the street over a decade ago. We hosted my daughters 16th birthday party in the upstairs hall and had a wonderful time. Everyone is very welcoming and I just love the popcorn served. It is a great place!“

“Looking forward to coming back to The Hot Club - it’s in a great location right on the water. We didn’t have to wait for seating and there were great beverage options - including N/A. They have a small food menu but it turned out surprisingly good! The fish bites were flaky and the chicken tenders and a great crunch to them. Great vibes.“
