“Great food but not so great customer service. We placed a take out order for taco pizza. When we arrived home we learned there were none of the required toppings on the pizza. (No lettuce, tomato, cheese or sour cream). My husband had to make a return trip to get the situation corrected. While the girl on the desk was very helpful, no one apologized for the mistake. The pizza was merely taken to the kitchen, toppings placed on the pizza, and returned to my husband. No one from the kitchen spoke to my husband. My suggestion: if you order take out, open the box and be sure you’re getting what you ordered to save yourself the time and gas of a second trip.“

The food was impeccable, the service was top tier, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy.Plenty of menu options to choose from, with multiple chef specials to boot. “I almost didn't come here because I saw a review saying the food was bland. I'm so glad I came anywags, I got Chicken Parmesan with Pink Vodka sauce and Linguine, it was AMAZING! The portions were massive and I got about two whole breasts worth of chicken and the sauce was so so yummy, I had about 2/3 of my meal as leftovers. I'm definitely coming back here!“

“I love this restaurant but I did have an issue last night I ordered the Margarita pizza with anchovies, unfortunately your chef either didn’t have them or didn’t know but gave me sardines instead. “First time here and it was very good. I tried the swordfish and it was not bad. The service was outstanding. I'd recommend sitting at a table unless your a skinny person. I'd recommend if you're looking for a place to have a romantic dinner with that special someone. Not too loud and they take good care of you.“

“First time dining at this restaurant. We met another couple being a place that was half way between us. My wife and I had traditional Italian comfort food. The other couple had some fish dishes. Their dishes looked amazing and interesting presentations. My wife's very much enjoyed her eggplant rollatini and my Italian combo plate was very much as expected. Our friends had salmon primavera, and haddock & shrimp Francese. Although we enjoyed our meals, we envied our friends. All our meals included a salad and pasta. The service was very good. Plenty of easy parking. Right off the highway. Prices were attractive. I give this restaurant a solid four stars. In the lounge, there is a fireplace with evidence of a recent real wood fire. Overall, I enjoyed our night out at Gia Ristorante Italiano, and will be back soon.“

“Updating my review because I last submitted a review in 2016. Some of the staff have since changed and they are under new ownership. The food and service at Merola's Granite Farm are better than ever! I often order their chicken parm dinner, minus cheese, because it's the best chicken I've ever had. Their tomato sauce is fresh, bright, and delicious. If I'm not in the mood for pasta, I order an eggplant grinder with sweet potato fries. The eggplant is crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside - phenomenal! Sweet potato fries are always good. I'm usually not a fan of breakfast because of my food allergies but I LOVE their breakfast items! I usually order a bunch of sides. Their carved ham is fantastic, their homefries are excellent, and you can't go wrong with their cinnamon baked apples or a grilled English muffin. Staff are personable, attentive, and friendly. You have the option of eating near the cozy bar, or in the larger dining area. Very beautiful. Love it here!!“

“Growing up in Smithfield, this has been a staple in my family for many years. Now I live in Providence and don't make it here too often. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were out shopping and were getting hungry, and I suggested Tony's. He has very high standards of food, and always has his list of favorites, and was a bit hesitant since he had never tried it. We decided to order anyway, and he could not stop raving about not only how delicious and fresh everything tasted, but how nice everyone was! He has an allergy, and they went above and beyond to make sure there was no product cross-contamination. It's rare to find such kind, and friendly service. This is a wonderfully cozy, and caring family restaurant. I suggest the Italian grinder, hot. We will definitely be ordering again!“
