“Friendly atmosphere, awesome beer. Should definitely stop in at the brewery, and ask for at your local beer store. Two of my local stores have started carrying Whalers Rise since I asked about it.“
“Fun and eclectic speakeasy type bar. Drinks were well made and the service was great. Seating is limited to approximately 30 at max including the bar area. Comfortable waiting area outside of the bar if you need to wait to be seated. Knead doughnuts is across the hall. Great options available for a late night snack while you enjoy your drinks. You have to ask about the doughnuts.“

“I went for open mic night and was not disappointed! Had never been but driven by, and the place always looks full. Staff was pleasant, manged crowd well, and they had food in the grill, outdoor seating, nice lights, and great local comedians to entertain.“

“This place really shocked me. I was not expecting such great prices and great quality food. We ordered a few appetizers to share thinking they wouldn’t be enough for a meal. We have left overs for about 2 days. Their nachos were piled high, and not skimped out on the toppings. Our server recommended the “hoochie mama “ flavored wings and they were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy and sweet/savory. The sangria was amazing and I wish I lived closer to come here every weekend. We spent only $60 on 4 apps, and 2 drinks. Can’t beat it“

“Melissa was our waitress and we got to meet the owner! Just a lovely crew and a fun atmosphere!! Look how beautiful this charcuterie board is!! We had soo much fun here and would highly recommend this bar to anyone !! The highly recommended reviews are what brought us here and we can confirm they are all true!!! “The Avery is a stand out Providence date spot. Ideal for first encounters and a brief meeting. As the night goes on the volume increases so best to hit here close to opening. You can forget about getting a drink past a last call. Typical of West End. Overall good.“

“Been going to Dave's for decades and always a good experience, even if just looking to play pool and drink. Ask for Mike the bartender. I miss the free popcorn but that was pre-covid.“
