“Didn’t take pictures of my food but everything was great! We tried the empanadas (chicken was better than beef), fried yuka, side of plain tostones, and the chuleta entree. The chimichurri on it was amazing, potatoes were done well. For dessert we ordered the churros and it was delicious! Definitely shareable. I had the watermelon mule- delicious and not too sweet. We’re excited to return and try more things.“

“I loved this place! I stopped by to warm up before a nearby concert and ended up coming back the same night after leaving the concert early because it was wack. This place has amazing music, especially throwback Dominican hits.
The hookah was great, the staff was friendly and super nice, and the food was really good. We ordered a picadera with a bit of everything bomb, great portions, and perfect for sharing. Prices are great, and the drinks were on point.
I’ll definitely be back soon. So happy I found this good spot great reason to visit Providence from Boston!“

“Stopped in for some food and drinks after seeing one of our favorite bartenders post this place on her Facebook and was pleasantly surprised! Me and the wife love us some latin food! We sat at the bar with Phillippa like always wherever shes at and had some of her delicious margaritas. They really are some of the best we ever had! She recommended some dishes and everything was truly amazing! We will definitely be back!“

“This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.
Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.
Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).
I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.
TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.“

“Always a great experience and amazing food! Weekend ribs are amazing--smoky and delicious with their signature BBQ sauce! Be sure to order early as they always sell out, but worth the effort. If you can't get the ribs, I HIGHLY recommend the burgers. I know what you are thinking, but this is not just Mexican food. Nacho Mamas has THE best burgers anywhere.“

“Went there on a Sunday during their live Marima band 3-6pm and DJ dance party 6pm on. Atmosphere made the experience exceptional. Food and service was satisfactory enough. I will go back for the Sunday music experience and buy drinks.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Rey de Las Pupusas, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. What drew me to this restaurant was the option of two different sizes for their Pupusas, and I decided to try both the regular and the larger size. The photos truly speak volumes about the size difference - the bigger ones were impressive!The pupusas were incredibly cheesy and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. “9/2/25— I was on the hunt for tamales, so I drove here. Sadly, they only sell tamales on weekends. Instead, I bought some bread and a few other things. I found out that once the weather cools, they will start making atol de elote. I remember seeing this store when it first opened and have watched it grow little by little. I really like their bread—it’s always fresh. I recommend this place!“
