“So good! This place is a little hole in the wall pizza joint with amazing food! I was seriously impressed with their pizza of course but they also have some interesting menu specials like heartland casserole and stuffed pepper soup. It’s more of a take out place but you are welcome to sit down and be waited on. The lady at the front was very nice. We don’t eat down this way often but next time we do, we will be back for sure!“

“First time in. Monday night special is quite the deal! Food tasted excellent and portions are large. I was able to take home plenty of food and my unfinished bottle of wine. We did feel a bit rushed. Not only to place our order but appetizers and salads were served at the same time to our small table. We were asked multiple times if we were done with courses when we had forks in our hands. Because the food was delicious and very well prepared we’ll give it another try and hope for a better service experience.“

I also appreciate how clearly they post their hours of operation on every platform. Almost impossible to go there without knowing if they are open or not.“

Most servers we've dealt with at other restaurants feel like we are being a bother if we need something. Jules was not like that and was great to our dog Foxy as he lounged on the patio and ate his meal. 5 stars. we will definitely be back.“

“Cafe Tempo is hands down the best staff and coffee in Rhode Island. It never disappoints. I hope they never get too corporate or big and lose their neighborhood charm. “Drive past this Pizza institution all the time. Decided to order and have it delivered. Ordered a large pie with onions, broccoli and pepperoni with a side of B-B-Q wings. It was all FANTASTIC!! Kids loved the wings, meaty and saucy. I loved the thick crust pizza, crispy and not tough. Hard part was divvying up 8 slices for 3 people... Hey Pete, can you cut 9 slices next time??? LOL All in all, it was a great dinner solution!!“

“What a fantastic dining experience my family had tonight. Cocktails were superb, my rare tuna tacos were not only the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, it was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. My wife had the rib eye melt which was equally as delicious, and my daughter loved her Mac & cheese and green beans. I started with white chowder which is typically good no matter where you get it in New England, but there’s was excellent. As good as the food was, it was the service from Alexa that made it so memorable. She was friendly and accommodating like any server would or should be, but she went beyond that making us feel like friends and family. Extra kudos to her for being a superstar. All in all, this was a 10+ dining experience even though the best is 5. Back 40 and their sister restaurants are all the best that RI has to offer.“
