“First time here at this location have to say it’s a really clean place and great staff! Management looked to be hands on and visibly present on the floor which u don’t always see in restaurants especially chain restaurants. I had sat down at the bar by myself to a warm welcome from Kaitlynn who’s not only a knowledgeable bartender but personal as well 100% would be back ! And definitely recommend starting off with one of their espresso martinis (I added a splash of milk to mine ik not traditional 😅 but the drink itself is sweet do to them using Owen’s espresso coffee so u can definitely enjoy this cocktail without the dairy from baileys or any other Irish cream!)“

“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !“

“Had the pasta dish (began w L)and pork chop. Both were excellent. Really trendy atmosphere. Also loved the cheese cake dessert. The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“My boyfriend and I have been here many times throughout the year . This is hands down one of the best dining experiences we have ever had . Every staff that works here has incredible knowledge and confidence in what they do and the food / drinks backs it up entirely . Not only this but the price point for everything is absolutely fair and if not I think less than what it should be for the experience you get ! Best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had ! “Awesome sandwiches! We had lunch with a group and everyone’s was very good. Really put them on the spot with an order of 100 wings for a hockey team that evening. Not only did they make it happen, the wings were AMAZING! Molly up front was super helpful and the owner (Bulent) made sure the wings got done. Highly recommend!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“The food and atmosphere during our latest visit to New Rivers were both excellent, as expected. It was the service that really stood out on this visit. When we arrived, the hostess kindly made sure we sat at the table she selected for us, rather than the bar as we requested, because she selected the best table in the restaurant for us. From there, our server struck the perfect tone. Warm, hospitable, discreet, and attentive, she made sure that we were able to keep the night about us, rather than her service. She seemed to anticipate our needs, never interrupting at an awkward moment or lingering too long. We enjoyed a leisurely, intimate meal gazing at the city's twinkling lights. The food was, as always, excellent, a wonderful expression of seasonal New England fare, presented artfully. My favorites were the pumpkin hummus with crunchy root vegetables, which a perfectly refreshing, sensual way to start the meal. The scallops were also great, presented with a knockout green sauce and some perfectly-cooked potatoes and green beans. Highly recommended - get a reservation, skip lunch, invite the best conversationalists you know and tuck in for a great meal.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“This was my first time eating here. Let me start off by saying I had the best scrod I have ever ordered in a restaurant. When the waitress came to take our order I decided on a grilled chicken sandwich. I did not want the fries so I asked to sub a side salad (which I normally do at any place where I order a sandwich, usually a up charge) she said we don't do that but you can have a potato and vegetable. Who would want that with a sandwich! I declined and ordered the scrod. She then asked what kind of soup I wanted (apparently comes with the meal) or you can have a salad. I can sub a salad instead of soup but not for the fries. ODD! The bill comes and I was charged for a side salad. This waitress never said there was a upcharge, which i found odd. I would have paid it anyway. To bad they don't offer something healthier than fries with their sandwiches. This would not be a place I would rush back to.“

Their food is good , my husband loves their biscuits and gravy .
The prices are fair . The staff seems friendly . On Sunday mornings it is fast paced !!
Dated resturaunt , good food and fair prices !! Come on those sometimes are the things we love about dinners .

My only complaint
Management really needs ti make the waitresses out their hair back . The girl with the beautiful long dark brown hair brushed several dishes with her hair that were waiting on the counter to be served....so that is a problem“
