“Loved this little tucked away spot. The ambience and service was delightful! Also the happy hour oysters were some of the best I’ve had all summer . The fries and mussels with curry sauce is my new favorite dish and I had this dish a week ago and I’m pretty sure I’ve thought about it once a day since.
Hope to be back soon!“

“Wow, a top New York City type restaurant in Newport. Forget the losers comments from years ago. Dress like you’re going first class. Atmosphere here is awesome…2nd floor is special. Drinks are reasonable and delicious. Our server PATRICK WAS AMAZING. They explain specials and drinks. Most attentive and all foods were perfectly presented. Wanna another drink, ask and within 2 minutes it’s there. We had wild mushrooms and salmon that were incredible as appetizers. Caesar salad was fresh and lettuce crisp. Scallops special had my wife shaking her head. My seafood linguine was overflowing with fresh seafood. The dessert of “Snowball from Hell” can be shared. Our 54th anniversary was unreal. THANK YOU Park next door in Moorings lot.“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “Kaylia (spelling?) was a great server and did a fantastic job. Food was great. We had duck and rack of lamb. Apps and drinks were good. The staff made a small error with our order but corrected it immediately. They even recognized our reason for celebrating and made it a very special night. Place is not clearly marked and can easily be missed. Think it was a hidden gem in the resort.“

“We arrived a little early and we were immediately seated. We had an outside table along the water by the marina. Our server was extremely pleasant. I had the white sangria which was excellent. The calamari we ordered for an appetizer was delicious. We had time to relax and enjoy our appetizer and cocktail before our meals arrived. I had the lobster risotto with asparagus which was delicious. However I do not have a big appetite and had more than enough to take home for later. My husband had the tuna with asparagus and creamed spinach and artichoke. He also said that his too was delicious. We were both too full to even think about dessert. After dinner we sat in a little lounge area behind where our table was to finish my cocktail.“

“My partner and I got a take out pizza and a Cesar salad. Pizza was fantastic, pepperoni was really good. Cesar was also good, nice authentic dressing. The takeout lady could have been a tad more pleasant, but maybe that’s just me. Regardless, food was really good and we would come back on our next trip to RI.“
