“Must try their croissant and baguette! Paris in Rhode Island! I used to live in Paris for five years and there was a little bakery right down the street that I went almost every days for croissants. Although I live in Rhode Island now, Le Bec Sucre brings back sweet memories of authentic french bakery! It's a must!“

“What you will find here are two of the nicest people you can meet in the city. Today was my second time coming here after my girlfriend and I had been admiring their social media. The croissants we had the first time were amazing. Today I tried a savory dish from them and they didn’t disappoint in the slightest. Amazing people creating amazing food. If you haven’t tried them you need to go ASAP.“

“Beautiful bakery and cafe with excellent food. The side salad with the breakfast sandwiches is a nice touch. Limited indoor seating by outdoor seating on wrap around porch and at fire pits is charming. Glad we tired this. We'll be back.“

“I adore this cute this place, not just because it’s down the street but the food is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the dine in area is very quaint. I really like the couch area if I can get it, but always love a good latte by the window with a delicious pastry.“

“My favorite place ever. I've been getting meat pies from here for over 30 years. I live in California and I'm so happy they partnered with Goldbelly. It's been years since I've been in person but everyone who works there is amazing. If you are anywhere near here RUN and get as many pies as you can. If your far away order from Goldbelly. I guarantee you won't be disappointed“

“The macarons here are the best I’ve ever had in the States. The shop is cute and the folks that work there are nice and helpful. They offer more than just macarons- the cakes, brownies, sweet treats, ice cream etc are all delicious!!! My friends and I come here for every single birthday, wedding, anniversary etc. love it!“

“Holy smokes this was so good. Chocolate donut sandwich, jelly, old fashioned glazed, vanilla sprinkles, jelly/ cream, cinnamon raisin bun. Made a detour here on our way to Battleship Cove. There were many more options I hope to try again soon. For anyone else who likes to try to local donut shops where they're at, this is a must try/ worth a drive. Shockingly inexpensive too- this box was under $7. My son often just eats the frosting off his donuts but he devoured the entire vanilla frosted donut. High praise.“

“Delicious! This is one of the few bakeries that I feel makes great tasting quality baked goods. I love the strawberry and cream turnovers. They are filled with fresh whipped cream! I really appreciate this place. I love to bake myself so I'm picky with baked goods but this place is awesome.“
“Deducting a star solely due to the mediocre service and strange tasting pastries. I remember eating these pastries as a child in the year 2000-08 and now as an adult, I find it isn’t edible. What makes this bakery worth visiting is the sweet bread aka masa. The masa is just enough crisp on the outer crust with an inside so soft and moist you could shape it in your fist. The best in the area! What’s frustrating is the baker only makes a certain quantity every week, even though they constantly run out before closing. The bakery hasn’t evolved with time and I don’t believe they ever will.“
“The best Portuguese Bread. I usually buy at Amaral's central market at the same price as Afonso bakery. I buy a few bags and store them in the freezer since I live in Warwick, RI. Best with Portuguese Kale soup, chourico meat, stuffing, etc.Parking: There little bit of street parking.“

“Normally very satisfied and love the food but disappointed this time as I paid for an item I didn’t receive. She must’ve not put it in the bag. Wish I caught it then cause I don’t live close. Make sure you’re keeping an eye out! Paid and didn’t even get the sandwich everything else was there.“

“I had the pleasure of getting some June Love's treats at the Farm Fresh Providence farmer's market. The chocolate chip rock cake are to die for. Seriously, one of the best baked goods I've ever had that my mom didn't make herself. I will definitely make a trip to the store after this delicious experience!“

“Always a good cup of coffee! Grays offers fun and innovative monthly specials. There are a few seats available inside but outside is set up like a cozy patio and perfect on those spring/summer days. Lots of parking including a parking lot across the street. There are also park benches, tables, chairs along a small pond. Dogs are always welcome which is a plus!“

“This is the third time my girlfriend, and I have been here, and all I can say is, YOU don't have to drive over the stupid Washington Bridge to go to Federal Hill, or Cranston, to get excellent Italian food. I don't mean to disrespect, but Spaghetti Lane does it right. Every dish I have tried has been flavorful, and great portions. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. She had the chicken/eggplant parm, and J had the veal parm. I do suggest making a reservation, because seating is very limited in this establishment, which I think is fine. It's more quaint, and not noisy, which I like. Overall, I highly recommend the Carbonara, and Parmigiana.“

“Wonderful baked goods. The Asiago bagels, croissants, and fruit scones are my personal favorites, but there's lots of choice. Avocado toast is a real treat. Great breakfast and lunch sandwich selection. Excellent coffees. Plenty of indoor and outdoor (in season) seating, except perhaps during morning rush on a sunny summer weekend morning. Very charming atmosphere.“

“Glad we popped over here from Newport. The French toast and breakfast sandwich were delicious. The pastry selection was huge, though we didn’t partake. The line was long, but they were taking orders as fast as the could. This is an order at the bar style cafe. The food came out fast. Nice little outdoor area as well. Popular with both the locals and tourists.“
“We went with Confections Bakery for our wedding cake. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious. We decided on the lemon-raspberry with buttercream. The buttercream was not overly sweet which we loved. Overall delicious cake, beautiful detail. Would definitely go to them again for other occasions. ❤ Thank you! Pedro and Karen Esquilin 8.20.22“
“Holy smokes, you've gotta go down here for a soft pretzel. I purchased the Sour Cream & Onion and it is easily one of the best soft pretzels I have ever had. They offer several sauces as well as delectable hand dipped pretzels/confections. The place is tidy, simple yet very inviting. Just dig in!“

“I'll start by saying they have the best tasting birthday cake I've ever had in my life, which says alot as I'm older and have been to many bakeries. On top of that, everything else I've eaten here has been delicious, be it the lemon pound cake with icing, the blueberry scones, the pumpkin whoopie pies, the list goes on. Exceptional.“
“I found her before her store front on Instagram. She made one of the best Pistachio cakes we've ever had. Fast forward less than 6 months from then and she now has a store front! She typically has two cupcake and two cookies which she announces the week before the weekend. However she did post she was going to start doing a monthly menu in August. She is also doing scooped to order cookie dough! The beast was sooooo good!! So glad I can get her treats as needed now!! Employees were very sweet. Best of Luck!!“

“After trying both Marzilli's and Marcucci's bakeries I chose Marcucci's. Bread was better and the quantity of ingredients was abit more from Marcucci's. However the Italian sandwich's were close but I'll go back to a Marcucci's.“

“When I worked in Newport, this was my go-to spot for a latte in the morning with a muffin or bagel. If there was time, I would sit in the cafe to enjoy my food and latte surrounded by a clean and warm atmosphere.Outside of my normal order, Anna D's also offers a variety of desserts and breakfast options with lunch choices too. On a rare lunch out, I ordered a delicious ragin cajun panini that was cooked well and tasted great! You can also grab an ice cream during the regular season when its side building opens to serve delicious sweets of sundaes, frozen yogurt, and more.In addition, parking is available and easy to access, and Anna D's has a friendly and hardworking staff. This is a definite must stop in Portsmouth!“
