“We had an excellent dinner experience here. The food was great. The main dishes are a bit pricey but the tasting menu was exceptional and an excellent value. We got to try everything we wanted with this option. We didn't leave completely stuffed but comfortably full. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. They had no issues accommodating our dietary restrictions with the tasting menu which was refreshing. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Newport and I would come back again every time I visit. If you are in Newport, make sure you get reservations here. “Finally got around to trying out the new Barrington location and it was nothing short of amazing! We got there on a rainy Sat night - called ahead to see if they took reservations but were told no and that there should be no wait. We got there shortly after and were promptly seated and serviced. The new spot is def a few steps up from the old spot - updated, modern and airy. Meaghan was our waitress and was wonderful - as was all the staff. It was outstanding friendly service and efficient all at the same time. We started with the loaded tater tots and the octopus special. The octopus was cooked wonderfully and the tots were a fun appetizer to share - reminds me of my elementary school lunch if I was Richie Rich. But the spotlight goes to our entrees - I got the chicken parm with fresh rigatoni and the pink vodka sauce and he ordered veal parm with fresh bucatini and pink vodka sauce (how unoriginal ). Both were delicious! I love me a good vodka sauce and fresh pasta - my rigatoni was maybe 20 seconds short of being al dente but I'd prefer a tad harder vs soggy floppy pasta. The bucatini however was perfecto! The mister said it was one of the best veal parms he's ever had and that's a tall order to fill! All drinks were creative and tasty! And with how delicious dinner was, we had to get some dessert and they didn't disappoint! We were way too full and took the rest of dessert to go. With the nightmare that is the Washington Bridge debacle - this is a great place to support more locally, you won't be disappointed! No need to go to the Hill for some good Italian (they do serve up Portuguese fare as well) when we've got a great spot in our backyard! With apps, drinks, dinner and dessert - tax + tip was close to $200 but well worth every penny!“
“Absolutely excellent. Stopped in very hungry for a late lunch and bought $50 worth of stuff including a sandwich on their old world Italian bread which is amazing. Got a cold brew which was fantastic and a container of cheesecake gelato which was absurd. Stopped in the next day to run it back because omg. I have an Airbnb in the area and don't often get down that way because we're renting it out but I may have to block off a few weekends just for an excuse to frequent this place while in town. Can't wait to get back. They have several homemade dinners I will be trying next.“

We had the clams and mussels appetizer which was made with what seemed like a homemade marinara sauce - yum! Also had the shrimp and scallops entree with egg noodles and it was very tasty. “This is the third time my girlfriend, and I have been here, and all I can say is, YOU don't have to drive over the stupid Washington Bridge to go to Federal Hill, or Cranston, to get excellent Italian food. I don't mean to disrespect, but Spaghetti Lane does it right. Every dish I have tried has been flavorful, and great portions. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. She had the chicken/eggplant parm, and J had the veal parm. I do suggest making a reservation, because seating is very limited in this establishment, which I think is fine. It's more quaint, and not noisy, which I like. Overall, I highly recommend the Carbonara, and Parmigiana.“

“What a find! Was looking for a good restaurant for lunch in Bristol and found Brick, which it seems only recently started opening for lunch. The smell from the road of brick oven pizza lured me in:). The atmosphere is awesome, a big roomy old industrial building that feels almost like a tap room - while it was lunch, I didn't get a chance to dig into the beer list but they have a huge and well appointed bar. Our server, Haley, was friendly, personable, and shared that all the ingredients are local. She even gave us the tip to warm left over pizza up in an air fryer to keep it crisp! Had the pizza of the day, Fig & Prosciutto, and the Shroom pizzas and total amazing-fest. Delicious, thin crispy crust with a sophisticated taste. Without question will be back and happy to recommend Brick to anyone in the area or passing through - try them for lunch as was a light crowd, fast service, and selfishly I want them to stay open for lunch forever!“

There was still a variety of slices available, I got the meat lovers and Hawaiian. “I grew up in NJ. We have been living in Rhode Island for almost two years now in different towns and I have never found a slice I would even refer to as passable. Every pizza place, the crust was wrong and the sauce was not what I grew up on. We just moved to Warren and I love brick oven pizza so I decided to brave it and give them a try…. I was more than a little disappointed with my pickup pizza tonight. Crust was a virtual pita bread and had pepperoni added despite requests for no meat besides chicken. Everyone can have a bad day so I will consider this an anomaly. Probably wasn't the best day to make these mistake as I was already committed to this review and photographed the store while waiting. “Went to get lunch with my husband and our two kids this afternoon on Martin Luther King Day. Sat immediately in dining area and ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, wings and two kids meals. Our kids absolutely devoured everything! The fries and cheeseburgers were delicious. The pizza was perfection as well! The staff is so nice and helped us put on the bruins game for our hockey obsessed kids. All for under $50!
