“Yang Restaurant?? is the best Chinese restaurant you can get in Broad Street. With Broad Street being such a long road with an abundance of restaurants and markets, having this restaurant around is the best. By far their most popular item is the chicharrón and tostones combo. Chicharrón is pork and tostones are mashed fried plantains. I would recommend getting this item!! It’s only $10! If you want to just have one, then get the chicharrón. Another popular item that’s my personal favorite is their chicken wings, these aren’t just your average wings that are the size of a finger, these are actually massive wings that often fit in your entire hand, adult wings! I am unsure of the exact cost per wing, but you can get 6 of them for $11. They’re hot, crispy, and very filling. Of course they also offer several other combos and many other traditional Chinese items. They offer curbside parking and have an entire parking lot at your disposal. They make the food FAST!! Often finishing whatever item you ordered in around 10 minutes since they’re always on the job. They’re open from 11:00AM to 11:00PM and often are opened during holidays. They also speak pretty well Spanish and English.I don’t have any negative comments about this restaurant other than the fact that they only take cash, so be warned this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. No credit/debit cards allowed?❌. For anyone that isn’t familiar with chicharrón, The way this restaurant makes it is with bone-in. So be careful to put it in your mouth and take a bite without being aware of where the bone is, I would recommend breaking off pieces with your fingers before taking a bite. Just to make sure you don’t bite on any hard bones because they’ll definitely hurt your teeth. Some won’t have a bone, but most will
Vegetarian options: For vegans there's couple of items you could definitely still have here, for example fried rice, and other vegetables. As a vegan you can still have one of the most popular items which is the Tostones, since Tostones are made out of a vegetable.
Dietary restrictions: For anyone who is especially Muslim, bewarned that they're most popular item"chicharrón" is pork. Since the name is inSpanish you wouldn't know until you search it up or someone tells you. Other than thatthere's nothing else that you should worryabout that isn't already in English. If youwould still like to try one of the most popular items then you can either get the chicken wings or the tostones. Tostones are made from a vegetable called plantain, resembling a banana.
Parking: In their parking lot you can comfortably fitabout 5 cars, if not more depending on yourparking angle. They also offer curbsideparking at the front of the restaurant thatusually fits about 2-3 cars. If you're willing to make a walk you can also park at the curb next to their parking lot (However that curb is often shared with a nearby restaurant so it won't always be available).
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant offers many seats so if youcome with a child or plan on dining with them, they offer family friendly tables and waiting areas. For food they do have french fries and soda which most kids like. Be careful giving them their most popular item, "Chicharrón" since most of the chicharrones have a smallbone in the middle that kids could choke on or hurt their teeth with if not careful.“

“You wouldn't expect by looking at it that this is one of the better spots for good, fast chinese food in Providence. The sticky wings are amazing. Also has some hispanic dishes. The only reason I don't give them a 5 is occasional inconsistency.“

“I ordered delivery (my first time ordering here) I live all the way in Cranston and they delivered to me which was a plus! The food got here in less than 45 minutes and the delivery driver and person who answered the phone were very nice. Good service always tells me the food is going to be good and it is! I ordered pork fried rice, chicken wings and crab Rangoon. The chicken wings come as a whole I just tore them apart to fit in my plate. The Chinese Food from here was 10/10. They even threw in one egg roll which most places don’t seem to do anymore.“

“Not quite as “Chinese” as I would have hoped, yet it does bring a unique flavor. I ordered what I usually order elsewhere, and the taste quite different. Enjoyable nonetheless. I’ll try a different menu item next time if I’m feeling adventurous again“

“Wow! I love homestyle/traditional cantonese + sichuan, but I’ve been searching for a while for a joint that serves american staples. I was blown away by the quality of the 1/2 chicken- simple flavor, crispy. The store was small and clean. Will return.“

“Been going to them for over 15 years and they are honestly one of the best Chinese places to go, I use to get just the general Taos chinken and pork fried rice combo and it was great all the time. I've sense branched out to other parts of the menu trying new things and everything is as good as the last. I would recommend them for one of the best Chinese food in RI even compared to Jacky's and other fancy restaurants.“

“First time going since the renovation and it’s pretty plain and boring simple to say, the staff is ok only 5 at a time a day and food is ok got the tos chicken 🍗 its pretty crispy omg 😱 the BEST CHIKEN EVERRRR
should have more FLOWERS LIKE SPAICY OR CHILI BUT ITS SO WORTH IT and little rice for a big amount of chicken.
Prices are fair but does take 10-15 mins when ordering in side“

“We got beef and scallions, shrimp Mei fun, and pork dumplings.
Beef was so tender it melted in my mouth, the shrimp Mei fun was light but so flavorful and the dumplings were doughy and delicate.
Will go back for sure asap.“

“I had a really good experience. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, and it was hot and tasty. Delivery was fast and handled through the restaurant’s website. The delivery fees aren’t crazy expensive, and everything went smoothly. Definitely I will order again!“

“Chef Ho’s provides classic, no frills, affordable Chinese-American food. Most of their business is now takeout and delivery, though there are still a handful of tables to dine in.
The table for four people right in the front window next to the entrance is a perfect spot to dine in, especially on Saturdays in the summer when Atwells Ave is closed for “Al Fresco dining” and lots of people are walking around (it’s a prime time for people-watching).
I was told that the food is so affordable because the owner purchased the building that the restaurant is in long ago and isn’t pressured to raise prices to pay increasing rents to a landlord.
The owner is very kind and is even willing to honor “secret” menu items that are in their computer system, but not on their posted or printed menus. For example, they have a “Dinner for Four” for just under $75 including tax, which is a pretty good deal, especially since it’s a huge amount of food (see photo).
The owner also has a small hidden parking lot on Falls Place that she allows clients who dine in to use. The parking lot is primarily used by their delivery drivers and staff. The lot can be accessed by Messenger St. It could also be accessed from Atwells, but the small Falls Place alleyway is sometimes blocked by cars. After you park, you just walk across Atwells to the restaurant.
Chef Ho’s is a classic spot. Although the average Google star rating (currently ~3.9) might give you pause, if you go with the expectation that you’ll have a good meal at a good value and not the type of extravagant experience you might have at newer restaurants that have opened nearby, you’ll be satisfied.“

“I’m a Regular client and I’ve been noticing that the rice lately has a weird odor smells like when you leave the rice in a pot for days and it Gets moldy and it tasted the same I thought maybe it was just me but it tasted really bad. It’s not the first time this occurred a lot lately and it’s sad because it’s one of my favorite places to eat. Maybe it’s time to look for a new place.?“

“Restaurant has its own parking lot. The inside is very clean, cozy booths and great service. The host was great about showing us the menu and helping with suggestions while helping us not to over order. Seriously, there are so many choices and I want to try all of them. My dining companion wasn't a seafood eater so we had beef and lamb thinly sliced and crunchy pork meatballs for our protein. We did get tofu also. We got the mushroom sampler, the veggie sampler and pulled noodles. When you are ready for the noodles, they pull them table side. We got a split pot with two bases, mushroom and bone broth. I made an oyster peanut spicy dipping sauce. The food was extremely fresh. It was delicious! The drinks were great and the overall experience was worth it. I'll be back!“

“I’ve eaten here a couple of times and can confidently say it’s the yummiest Chinese restaurant in Providence by far! I got to-to with my girlfriend. The portions for one order were more than enough for both us. Not to mention, they gave us two free Cokes!
Do be warned to get spice level 2 or lower if you don’t have much spice tolerance“

“I was visiting family in town and went out for lunch here, the food was AMAZING and the service was great. I requested to speak with one of the chefs in change of our order and Frankie came out and explain to me how the food is prepare and how food cros-contamination is prevented as i have an allergy to shellfish. Frankie was very helpful and well informed. Thank you for the great experience looking forward to return when back in town.“
