“Yang Restaurant?? is the best Chinese restaurant you can get in Broad Street. With Broad Street being such a long road with an abundance of restaurants and markets, having this restaurant around is the best. By far their most popular item is the chicharrón and tostones combo. Chicharrón is pork and tostones are mashed fried plantains. I would recommend getting this item!! It’s only $10! If you want to just have one, then get the chicharrón. Another popular item that’s my personal favorite is their chicken wings, these aren’t just your average wings that are the size of a finger, these are actually massive wings that often fit in your entire hand, adult wings! I am unsure of the exact cost per wing, but you can get 6 of them for $11. They’re hot, crispy, and very filling. Of course they also offer several other combos and many other traditional Chinese items. They offer curbside parking and have an entire parking lot at your disposal. They make the food FAST!! Often finishing whatever item you ordered in around 10 minutes since they’re always on the job. They’re open from 11:00AM to 11:00PM and often are opened during holidays. They also speak pretty well Spanish and English.I don’t have any negative comments about this restaurant other than the fact that they only take cash, so be warned this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. No credit/debit cards allowed?❌. For anyone that isn’t familiar with chicharrón, The way this restaurant makes it is with bone-in. So be careful to put it in your mouth and take a bite without being aware of where the bone is, I would recommend breaking off pieces with your fingers before taking a bite. Just to make sure you don’t bite on any hard bones because they’ll definitely hurt your teeth. Some won’t have a bone, but most will
Vegetarian options: For vegans there's couple of items you could definitely still have here, for example fried rice, and other vegetables. As a vegan you can still have one of the most popular items which is the Tostones, since Tostones are made out of a vegetable.
Dietary restrictions: For anyone who is especially Muslim, bewarned that they're most popular item"chicharrón" is pork. Since the name is inSpanish you wouldn't know until you search it up or someone tells you. Other than thatthere's nothing else that you should worryabout that isn't already in English. If youwould still like to try one of the most popular items then you can either get the chicken wings or the tostones. Tostones are made from a vegetable called plantain, resembling a banana.
Parking: In their parking lot you can comfortably fitabout 5 cars, if not more depending on yourparking angle. They also offer curbsideparking at the front of the restaurant thatusually fits about 2-3 cars. If you're willing to make a walk you can also park at the curb next to their parking lot (However that curb is often shared with a nearby restaurant so it won't always be available).
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant offers many seats so if youcome with a child or plan on dining with them, they offer family friendly tables and waiting areas. For food they do have french fries and soda which most kids like. Be careful giving them their most popular item, "Chicharrón" since most of the chicharrones have a smallbone in the middle that kids could choke on or hurt their teeth with if not careful.“

“It's order, make sure you have cash (cash only), pickup and go...There used to be atmosphere years ago when that door used to lead to a dining room but I'm sure hardly any of the current customers remember that. There's only one Chinese takeout spot that I would choose over them and people who live on the South Side know exactly what I'm talking about.
None of that matters because the food has remained consistently good, prices don't really change to a degree that's noticeable and the portions remain plentiful ⭐“

“I love the food here. Especially the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Bourbon Chicken . The flavor of the sauce on the chicken is amazing and the shrimp was very crispy and well seasoned. The owner is also super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend and come back to again.“

“Delicious hot pot 😋! Server was nice and the meats and veggies are super fresh. The crab meat sticks and that bbq dipping sauce were so tasty. Will definitely be back soon. Everything is a la carte so you can definitely rack up a hefty bill depending on what you get FYI.“

“Not quite as “Chinese” as I would have hoped, yet it does bring a unique flavor. I ordered what I usually order elsewhere, and the taste quite different. Enjoyable nonetheless. I’ll try a different menu item next time if I’m feeling adventurous again“

“I ordered delivery (my first time ordering here) I live all the way in Cranston and they delivered to me which was a plus! The food got here in less than 45 minutes and the delivery driver and person who answered the phone were very nice. Good service always tells me the food is going to be good and it is! I ordered pork fried rice, chicken wings and crab Rangoon. The chicken wings come as a whole I just tore them apart to fit in my plate. The Chinese Food from here was 10/10. They even threw in one egg roll which most places don’t seem to do anymore.“

“Authentic mala xiang guo just steps from Brown. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, perfectly balanced heat. Candice at the counter is
wonderful: warm, helpful, and genuinely happy to walk first-timers through how it works. Highly recommend.“

“Went to this place all the time around 2020, good reliable classic american chinese food. Buddhist delight and General Tso's tofu were our favorites. Service was good. The only thing we didn't like was the sauce for the crab rangoons - too thin, unflavored.“

“First time going since the renovation and it’s pretty plain and boring simple to say, the staff is ok only 5 at a time a day and food is ok got the tos chicken 🍗 its pretty crispy omg 😱 the BEST CHIKEN EVERRRR
should have more FLOWERS LIKE SPAICY OR CHILI BUT ITS SO WORTH IT and little rice for a big amount of chicken.
Prices are fair but does take 10-15 mins when ordering in side“

“A price you can’t beat though.I been ordering from these guys for years. Their food has always been hot and fresh because I pick it up in person. The orders take about 10-15 mins and it’s good for the price you pay for. Can’t complain when a plate is cheap.I will say, for what you pay for here has to be some pretty good portions compared to other places. The flavors are what you expect from any Chinese takeout. It’s not meant to be fine dining just cheap American Chinese food.Delivery drivers schedules are overloaded with orders. Esp. with the pandemic you don’t know when they can pick up your food while they are out delivering other multiple orders.“

“The 3.6 rating for this establishment seems inconsistent with my experience, prompting me to question its accuracy. I had the opportunity to sample a range of menu items, having ordered a substantial selection. Both the shrimp fried rice and spare ribs were outstanding, as were the chicken wings and crab Rangoon. The fried donuts, reminiscent of Rhode Island's doughboys at carnivals and festivals, exceeded expectations with their exceptional taste. Given that I ordered via Uber Eats, I was impressed that the food arrived hot, steaming, and perfectly packaged. This Chinese restaurant's excellence will undoubtedly make it my preferred dining choice moving forward.“
“Really enjoyed the offering they have including make your own Ramen they were heavy if you have two. Sakura milk tea was so good it had hint of cherry blossoms even better if you got them with tapioca pearls. A staff at the holiday Inn Theodore Francis Green Airport recommended this to us.
Neighborhood around the restaurant can be compared to Madison Morris County, NJ Drew University vicinity“

“Fresh rolls were packed with filling and came with a great sweet vinegary dipping sauce. The ginger chicken and fried rice were flavorful with plenty of fresh ginger. Portions were excellent for the price. The outside of the building looks a little rough, but the inside is beautiful and very clean. Definitely would order from Aspara Palace again!“

“We had a great dinner there just before the Waterfires. I am a big fan of the Mongolian Beef, and my daughter traditionally gets the lo mein. Our server, Suelly, was excellent. She was super friendly, and helped to make sure the ingredients wouldn't interfere with food restrictions. We also had fun talking with her about music, concerts and other live performances. It's a great place to get good food and watch the people passing by outside in downtown Providence.“
