“Ordered takeout from Wise Guys on Douglas Pike in Smithfield. We were greeted by a sassy and friendly Holly when picking up. The order was ready 10 minutes early and was piping hot. We had a NY Sytle half ham & half pepperoni, a Sicilian cheese, and a huge personal Knucky Thompson with Blue Cheese. Great sauce and crust. Glad we finally tried this place out and loved the customer service!!“

This time they teamed up with Ember To Ash Lounge for a fabulous evening featuring premium cigars from Oliva Cigar Co. and a decadent five-course dinner with wine pairings with a fabulous jazz band for entertainment. We kicked things off with a refreshing lobster & shrimp ceviche, followed by a savory filet crostini and crisp summer salad. Next came the star of the night—pillowy homemade ravioli—before finishing with an impressive mixed grill served in a truly generous portion! “One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. “Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! From the warm welcome to the fond farewell Chef Amando and family made you feel as you were an honor guest in their home. I could go on about every course of the 5 courses perfectly wine paired, unless partake in this personalize meal there are no words to describe what your taste buds savoring. In closing, now retired from hospitality I was once told by a Chef long ago, If I as a chef is requested to greet a table, it is only proper that I touch every table, so everyone feels welcomed. “Bellavista Restaurant has such a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The service was absolutely impeccable, from the owners personally coming to our table to greet us, to the friendly waitress and skilled bartender who made sure everything was perfect. Everyone was kind and attentive, especially our waitress who was so patient with the children and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious with generous portions, and every dish was full of flavor. Our favorites were the Chicken Marsala and the Grilled Chicken Alfredo — both were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The drinks were also very good and complemented the meal perfectly.

“Trattoria Romana in Johnston now serves Sunday brunch beginning at 10am! Fantastic menu, fantastic service, beautiful restaurant! My bestie and I enjoyed a girl's brunch. Chicken and waffles and Corner Beef Hash and eggs! Very yummy! The fry on the chicken was light yet crispy. The chicken was so tender it fell apart. The menu has all your brunch favorites like blueberry pancakes and Benedicts. There is also a full brunch bar offering Mimosa flights and espresso martini flights! Go check them out before the secret is out and you can't get a reservation!“

“We went to Uncle Tony's very early, around 4:15pm and were seated very quickly. This was our first time at Uncle Tony's. The dining rooms were nice and quiet, clean and neat. The menu has a wide variety and prices are reasonable. There are plenty of Italian favorites: we ordered Uncle Tony's special which was Pasta with sauce featuring tiny shrimp and clams- delicious! We also ordered their Lasagna and it was the best we've ever had in Rhode Island (no kidding!). Their red sauce is so tasty! Not too sharp, and the lasagna filling is a nice mixture of beef with Italian sausage. Our server was excellent and very attentive without too much interaction. Whenever we are around route 44 (Johnston) at dinnertime - we will stop again! By the way, we recommend getting to Uncle Tony's early because they are really a popular place!“
