“The cocktails were great, the bartender was even better! We didn't eat, but you have to rate the food to proceed with this survey; not to mention it took two passwords, one text & one email, to give this survey...mot good OpenTable!“

“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“I visited about a week ago to grab food quickly before boarding my cruise. I was in a hurry because the cruise boarded soon, and I let them know. Despite being a bit short-staffed, they were very understanding and got me my food very quickly. Also, the fries are delicious! Thank you for being so patient and understanding.“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“Classic dark interior low lighting cocktail lounge. Our party of four enjoyed a mix of cocktails and a couple of beers at reasonable prices. Only a brief visit on this occasion as it was the one for the road as they say but would definitely return when I have more time.“

“My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Fleur for a private event this past weekend. Everything was lovely and our hosts were so accommodating. I especially enjoyed the cutie bartender who made me a great vodka martini with 5 olives and then winked at me when I closed out. 5/5 experience overall. Great clams and linguine.“

“I went there for Brunch for the first time. I had a really great experience. The food was delicious and portion size was perfect. Prices are also affordable and the quality of the ingredients was really good. I really appreciated the service I received and that she helped me make informed decisions about what I was ordering. 10/10 experience and will definitely return.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“Loved the scallop roll and fries with GH seasoning. Cross between a barn mi and lobster roll. The bread was perfection warm , soft, buttery on the inside. Right amount of crust on the outside. The scallops were delicious. The seasoning on the fries made them stand out and complemented the roll. Staff were attentive, kind and helpful.“

“Walking in is a vibe on its own, not to many restaurants have that. It almost feels like your not even in Providence anymore.Started off with some apps, i got the Spicy Shrimp( the sauce on the shrimp was very very good!) and the calamari. I personally dipped my calamari in the spicy shrimp sauce but thats a conversation for a different day.Unfortunately i didn’t get to have my drink in a flamingo or a lil piggy but thats ok. The drinks were very good! The Chicken Milanese was a bit too thin (my opinion) but it was good. The steak was cooked to perfection, the mushroom risotto was very very good too. Im definitely getting the tomahawk next time i come.“

“We had such a great experience thanks to Kelly, our bartender, and Laura, our waitress. Kelly made amazing drinks, was friendly, attentive, and really made the atmosphere fun. Laura was just as wonderful—warm, patient, and on top of everything. Together they made our visit feel genuinely welcoming.
Excellent service, great personalities, and they both went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back because of them!“

“Cheryl and I dined with friends last night at Casa Azul Taqueria at 840 Allens Avenue in Providence. Although the place is small, with just three tables and primarily offering takeout, the food is fantastic, featuring great vegan options. We're definitely going back!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Stopped by last night for drinks with with Jessica Guarneri and wow, what a great spot. Good food, drinks were amazing, service was top-notch, and the vibe was very cool and upscale. The owner was walking around greeting people and doing quality control to be sure things were just right for all of his guests. My kind of place. I'll definitely be back.“

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!“

“Service was a bit slow considering I got there as soon as the doors opened. It was ten minutes before my waiter checked in for drinks and such. I dined alone, and noticed the couples were all waited on first lol. Friendly enough waiter and good food though.“

“I’d say this is the best restaurant in Rhode Island, no doubt about it. I got the honey barbecue tenders, fried pickles and the fried cheese curds and everything was above and beyond incredibly delicious. I will definitely be returning again and again. 😊“

“Had an incredible meal there last night! The buffalo chicken egg rolls, the Rogue Melt, and the lobster Mac & cheese. All amazing! I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“

“This has got to be one of the best spots in Rhode Island. I have eaten here many times and the food has been great every time. 10/10. Perfect prices. Fast service. Great portions. Great flavors. Everything on the menu so far has been really good. As a matter of fact, my wife asks for noodle soup from this place every week. And she is picky.“
“Love this place. Just moved from NYC. Bianca has made me some of the best mocktails I’ve ever tried. Explain your palate and watch her bring it life. She nails it every time. I’ve tried mocktails and cocktails on this menu and it’s one of my favorite spots Providence so far.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“Another day, another chance for more tacos with the RI Food Fight's TacoMania. This time we started with Diego's. As it was a Saturday, no tables were available from reservations but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. The space is open, dark. A blend of Mexican homage and industrial brick. An open kitchen gives you the chance to watch your meal be prepared in full view. Our bartender, Greer was super friendly and balanced attentiveness. She is detail oriented and was very accommodating. She quickly took care of our drinks and got our food order in ASAP. They offered a limited menu for TacoMania and I chose the carne option. It came out in a crunchy blue corn tortilla. After a squeeze of lime, I dug in. The crunch was everything you wanted it to be and more. The beef with queso fundido made this a slight messy but overall delicious taco. We got the cornbread souffle to share and it was outstanding. The souffle itself was savory and very corn forward, as opposed to the sweeter cornbread you see in the south. They add a touch of something sweet to balance it out. My friend had the shrimp chimichirri tacos and they said they were a 10/10. So glad to find another tasty spot in the TacoMania trail!“

“A wonderful restaurant, we ate at before a show at the Strand a couple of blocks away.. Squash bisque for apps and Chicken Parm and Tagliatelle Bolonese for entrees, all delicious. Laid back atmosphere and great service from our waiter Dennis. Highly recommended!“
“One of the best dining experiences in recent memory. Beautifully designed restaurant near the pedestrian bridge on the Downcity side of PVD. We were sat in an enveloping 2-person, hi-top booth. Across was a stunning but non-busy bar. Waitstaff were attentive and polite. And the food! Winter kale salad was outstanding: kale was soft, dressing was zesty and yet understated, with flecks of pomegranate seeds, goat cheese, and pistachio nuts. We didn't drink but the descriptions of the drinks looked fantastic. Next time. Now for the tacos. My dinner companion got one fish taco and one duck taco. I had one fish and one queso carne. Make no mistake, these are designer tacos. Small in size but piled high with multiple toppings, these explode with incandescent and flavors and textures. And very reasonably priced. I can't wait to return.“

“We hosted a party and had Durk’s cater. The food was delicious. Everyone raved about the brisket specifically!! We had 2 guests that needed gluten free and’s they worked closely with us to assure we got plenty of options. They forgot to bring the chafing dishes and went out of their way to drive 20 minutes up the road to get new ones for us. Talk about above and beyond! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for catered barbecue.“

“My best friend and I went to this restaurant fully expecting to get either blown away or really disappointed. I'm glad to report that we were BLOWN AWAY. There were so many options of paella that I was grinning from ear to ear. Plus! There were different sizes so my friend and I could get two different types!! It was delicious! However, the experience was made better by the staff. The waitress was wonderful and the owner even came out to great us and we were impressed by his friendly personality and professional ambitions. It was a five star experience!“
