“Just amazing service year after year. My mums favorite local restaurant as a local but even as a frequent visitor I always look forward to coming. From the greeting to the food, best martinis and tuna appetizers always amazing. The entrees of fish and pasta wonderful and fresh well made salads. The people and food are best of the Carolina's!“

“We had an outstanding dinner at River House for Thanksgiving. We have eaten there multiple times and each time have had a great experience and meal. Thanksgiving was no dinner. We were seated promptly in a nice table with a window and fireplace! The view of Riverhouse over the May river is lovely at sun down. Service was excellent, professional, timely, helpful, unobtrusive. The drinks were, wine selection excellent. The crab cake is to die for and made, who knew, with mostly crab! The file amazing and sides, sauce and deserts all excellent. We visit often and visit Riverhouse frequently. Don't miss it!“

We will definitely be back and the atmosphere seemed so clean , and modern inside that we may even dine in next time . We had a grouper sandwich, Philly cheesesteak, cheese fajitas, and avocado rolls, and all were really good ! Definitely a place to check out for people of all ages and all food tastes . “We stopped for a mid afternoon snack and beer and were so grateful we did! Azaria was our exceptional waitress, who was pleasant, sweet, answered questions, and gave recommendations. We had oysters and the crab/shrimp dip in the bread. My husband gets oysters whenever we visit a coastal area (we live on the coast in Delaware) and found the oysters from the May River to be the best he has had. The dip was perfect - thick, full of crab and shrimp, and not salty. We visit Bluffton every Spring and we will be back to Bluffton Family Seafood House! Also, we recommended this place to others already!“

“I can’t speak highly enough about Jacob and Phoenix. They both went above and beyond during our stay here and made each pool day spectacular. They have great service as well as great personalities making it better than any pool I’ve visited on property, or any other vacation property for that matter. “The three of us wanted to like this place because it's right next door to the hotel. So much so that after our first bad experience we decided to go back and give it another try! Ultimately, we decided it's just "meh". The servers and staff were great, but that's not the only thing we go to a restaurant for. If you just want a beer or a glass of wine it's perfect. If you want a mixed cocktail or anything off the menu ... just push onto the next place, it's bound to be better.“

Signage could be improved, and a few of the tees are difficult to find. Only one Porta potty and it needed attention. The layout is fun. Staff is friendly.“

The classic burger is delicious - hot, juicy, and made to order. The bacon, cheese fries were not greasy at all. They were also quite tasty. Heck, even the fountain drink was mixed well and great.
