“Sunday morning 9AM, little bit of a line but moved quick!

Apple danish - overall fine but the pastry part was too chewy almost stale, hard to tell if intentionally chewy or overcooked. Apple slices while aesthetically pleasing, hard to chew because of apple skin left on during baking

Chocolate Croissant - pretty good, but different. Super crunchy and very buttery. Good chocolate distribution

Matcha - great matcha to oat milk ratio but wasn’t whisked all the way through“

“I picked up the cake on Bee Street, and Mrs. Reese met me outside even though it was raining. She made sure the cake did not get ruined by the rain by covering it up. Later, I met with some of my Citadel classmates for dinner, with the cake being our dessert. Unanimously, everyone said the cake was delicious! It was one of the best chocolate cakes that I, or any of my classmates, have ever eaten. I highly recommend that, when you need to make an impression with dessert, Mrs. Reese be your first contact!“

“Oh my god! I tried the hummus and tomato confit on a plain sourdough bagel and I will be thinking about it every day until I go back next weekend. Service was great, plenty of seating, and free parking. Easy stop on your way to Folly on the weekend too! They even had a cute little free library set up for kids out front. Perfect spot to bring your littles to for an outdoor meal!“

“Didn’t know it was inside the gas station but they still have a very nice sitting area inside and the atmosphere is nice to sit and eat. The food is obviously amazing. The coffee is great! Bottom line, the male server (?cook? or ?owner?) made unnecessary snide remarks about American women (not me, lol) and behaved rudely towards me directly. -witnessed by five other adults in our party. Food was amazing. In the email response they assured me they would be able to accomodate a party of 8--and they did. But the Frenchman (and I am assuming he is French) was cocky!“

“The cashier was very friendly. She was an older white lady and very sweet to speak with. I went two days in a row to get my watch looked at by the booth in front of the store. Both days she worked and was friendly both times. She spoke very kindly to my 8-year-old daughter. She heated up the cinnamon bites and made sure we were satisfied.“
