So friendly; so helpful; so attentive - they had energy, drive and WINNING SMILES across the experience!! -now, the restaurant itself is on the smaller side with not a lot of decor so let’s call that “charming” BUT only because the trio of employees were outstanding! “This might be the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I’ve had a lot of construction at my house, so I’ve been spending a decent amount of my mornings here. The staff is just incredible. Every single person there is nice and attentive. The food and drinks come out fast.“

“I wanna take the girls at Starbucks this morning, August 12 at 6:45 AM. I was interested in trying something new and one of the girls suggested a salted caramel mocha Strato Frappuccino and it is absolutely delightful. It is delicious. It’s got the right amount of sweetness, the right amount of coffee. I wanna thank her so much for whoever introduced me to this district. I didn’t get her name, but I think she had wonderful customer service this morning and she knows exactly how to help a customer. She did a great job this morning and I wanna make sure that she is Aware of how much she helped me this morning.“

“Just wanted to pop on and say how exceptional my experience was at this Starbucks today. The young ladies who were the baristas when I came in were incredibly welcoming and warm. The area was clean, and there was a lot of great outdoor seating. The baristas even wrote cute little greetings on our cups. The customer service is what put this place over the top.“

“I go to this starbucks almost everyday and i love it! and i've been to other coffee shops, local and corporate owned, but none compare to this locations hospitality and service! especially the lovely girls named ashlea and kaytlin!! they are wonderful! kaytlin is always polite and excited to see me and my puppy whenever we drive thru or come in which makes our day better no matter what! and ashlea has a bubbly personality that makes you feel like you known her for years even if you only talk to her for a second thru the intercom. whatever these girls put in the air must be something magic because its always a wonderful experience at this store!!“

“I just want to say how awesome the team is at this Starbucks. I come here so often I recognize the voices in the drive‑thru, lol. It’s always a pleasant experience, and if anything ever needs to be fixed, they remake it without hesitation.

The morning crew keeps things moving with great speed, which makes it super convenient on my way to work. I can’t say the same for a nearby location, where I’ve had several slower experiences. Whether I order through the app or the drive‑thru, it’s consistently great here.

I also love the little messages on the cups — they always make my day. ❤

Huge shoutout to Jeff (dark hair, works mornings). I’m always happy to see him; he’s friendly, helpful, and always willing to explain anything I’m unsure about and Jasmine in the afternoons and evenings is amazing too — she always delivers great service.

“Firstly, and really the only reason this didn't get 5 stars, is they're extremely slow. There's maybe 1-2 people working at a time, with one person taking orders and making drinks. I've gone there on a 30min lunch break and spend 20min of it waiting in line. The saving grace, however, is how nice and patient the staff are and how accurate the drinks, as well. They will have some stock issues, occasionally, but that goes for nearly every Starbucks. My only other complaint is that you can't place an order through the Starbucks app for this location - so no ordering ahead! And I really hate waiting in lines.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian food options and vegan milk options, as well.

Kid-friendliness: This location is in a Target.“

“Only writing a review because of a safety issue. The line always takes forever and there’s no way to get out of it in the event of an emergency, it’s one lane the entire time and you’re blocked in by the building and a wall of bushes.“

“This is consistently the best Starbucks that I visit! The employees are always very friendly and efficient. I rarely have to wait a long time to get my order. I don't usually get food, so I can't speak on thay aspect. But every time I get a drink, it never disappoints! Always delicious! This Starbucks will continue to be my number one! “Great experience today. But one thing that stood out was Madi. We watched her hustle and knock out 5-6 drinks from hot to cold in well under 5 minutes. And every beverage she made we all were satisfied with the quality. Shout out Madi! She back there going Craazzyyy!!! (Good Crazy) lol“

“I’ve been to this location before but I usually go to the drive-thru which it’s limited interaction with the employees. Today I went inside and received some of the best customer service I’ve received in a while. I forgot to ask the young lady’s name but she was so patient and I appreciate her input on which new items I should try for me and my son. I just wanted to take the time to write a good review for the service I received this evening because good employees should be acknowledged.. as well as people tend to leave bad reviews quicker than good ones. So to the cashier I had 5/5:15 pm on 12/12/2025 , thanks for caring and the small talk.“

“The cashier with the pink hair was really nice and helpful. She had a great attitude and was just genuinely pleasant to interact with. It’s always nice when someone makes a simple checkout experience feel welcoming. She definitely deserves some recognition! It was a little busy due to family day but they were able to get our drinks in and out in a timely manner! Would definitely recommend this location if I was in state.“

“When I placed my mobile order. I ordered a Hot Blonde Vanilla Latte, however when my husband brought my order home it was iced. He doesn't understand the difference so he didn't know the order was incorrect. I attempted to call the location but no answer and I emailed customer service and no response as of yet.“

“I go in every morning at 6am. I occasionally step outside for a smoke as I see others including workers. One day the manager kicks out some guys sitting outside cause the were homeless bout no causing a ruckess.then he sees me somkingi showed him I ordered a cup and and he didn’t care even tried calling the cops, I pointed out that everyone smokes here customers and employees. Well a week goes by and I’m sitting down there drinking coffee and he gets nasty and says hope we don’t have a problem here. An hour later I went up and lit a smoke, and he was up and says your done get out, when I asked why he ignored me and he immediately grabbed his phone. For one there’s no smoking sign, two a week before the manager of Starbucks said I could smoke just throw my butts which I see. The manger at the Marriot that’s connected to Starbucks is discriminatory against towards homeless people whether there’s purchasing coffees or not. I was offended and walked away.this is appalling I understand the once who don’t pay but I buy a cop everyday. I don’t think this guy should keep his job. He’s looking for a reason to kick way the homeless and ignoring the fact that everyone else smokes up there. There should be a boycott but I’m sure it won’t happen. I have plenty of shops I can Go in but this was my favorite. If you could please pass this along maybe changes will happen. Mike-“

“We are on a driving trip and stopped in Columbia for a quick lunch and coffee. This is by far the friendliest Starbucks crew ever! We were met with a warm welcome, smiles, a can-do attitude, and thank you for coming. Best of all, the order was correct and made to perfection! They are now on my favorite list.“

“Even though this is one of the busiest Starbucks in Columbia and specifically on USC’s campus, the staff is always so warm, welcoming, and hard-working. I go to a lot of different Starbucks in the area including the Lexington, Irmo, and Sandhills area, while all locations have very friendly staff, this particular location always stands out to me. Many of them seem to build strong connections with customers while simultaneously managing the constant rush of tired students and staff getting to class. They really do seem to always be on their A-game!“

“I always have a positive experience with this group. I usually grab my Starbucks in the morning and the morning crew is always an absolute pleasure. Because I have become a regular they are familiar with my usual drink and will ask me before I make my request. They move swiftly and the quality of my order is always best.“

“The Starbucks in the library opens early and closes late, Monday to Thursday 7:30-23:00, with slightly shorter opening hours on Fridays and weekends.Fully serving students in the library!But there are always queues all year round. Hahaha, the demand is very strong. It takes about 10 minutes to order and 10 minutes to get the coffee.However, the milk foam of the latte is not very delicate, and it is not a very good experience to drink it.But you can drink coffee at your seat, so basically everyone has a cup.Btw, by the way, the library has free wifi. Even if you are not a student, you can come in to work and study.There are quiet floors and floors where you can talk.It's a very, very good library“
