“Staff was friendly and accommodating, even though it was packed the server was there to refill drinks and take our orders the moment we were ready. The food was fantastic, my mother in law declared their seafood pasta the best she has ever had. The grilled seafood platter was delicious as well, the shrimp was perfect and I finally ate scallops that I enjoyed. My drink, "The Painkiller" also lived up to its name, my back stopped hurting halfway through. 10/10 can't recommend enough.Wheelchair accessibility: It has wheelchair accessibility.“

“In town visiting and I just had to stop by Hannibal's Kitchen. I had heard so much about it. The art work was the first thing I noticed. Fantastic! But on to the meal. The food was delicious. My friend got the liver and onions which she said was tender, flavorful and delicious. I got the fried whiting platter. The fish was fresh, crispy and delicious. The sides were good too. So glad we made it there! Definitely stop by when you are in the area. Friendly staff too.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very kind and attentive in handling my allergy to garlic.“

“Swig and Swine has the best barbecue in Charleston! The food and the service are amazing. I usually get the brisket or pork and it is delicious. The staff are very hospitable as well. I’d definitely recommend trying it out if you’re in the area.“

“Service was amazing and very nice building with neat decor. The food was AMAZING and I mean absolutely to die for. I got the cheeseburger with mac n cheese, tasted like someone's papa and grandma put their heart and souls in that food. Didn't have to wait a long time for the food but honestly even if you did, I would genuinely say absolutely worth it. Pricing was fair for everything. Ps if you get a salad go with the visagarette, it's life changing.“

“Yall, this place is an insanely good hidden gem. They have AMAZING food, that tastes like its made from scratch, is cooked as fast as any fast food place (they even have a drive thru) and they are also cheaper than pretty much ANY fast food chain. It's honestly mind boggling. But on top of all of this..the staff is so sweet and amazing and they really make you feel like your the most special. I grew up in Columbia South Carolina, where we were lucky enough to get a home team barbecue that opened up right before I graduated. When I moved to Charleston to start my career and I found out I highly recommend asking for Peyton or Cam as they will make this unbelievable experience this is where they were founded I was immediately more attracted to the locally owned establishment with amazing Que.If you have the luxury of making it to the Sullivan Island location, I highly recommend you ask for Peyton and or Cam. As they will take this experience to an elevated level for you.10 out of 5 stars… a full send, as the kids would say.“

“Was looking for some good BBQ, in particular Briscket, and landed at Southern Roots Smokehouse. After receiving a very friendly greeting and tips on the food selection; my family and I enjoyed a very delicious meal. Two of us had the plates and one had the brisket burger. Both of which were very good. So good that we ended up ordering some extra banana pudding. Overall the service, the food, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable and would defiantly visit again.“
