“Woody’s has a typical beach bar vibe. The inside is small and rustic, and they have a large outdoor deck with picnic table seating. We were told to seat ourselves and we ultimately chose to sit outside. We were greeted quickly and gave our order - a couple of beers, a salad and large cheese pizza. The salad was adequate, some romaine, croutons and a packet of Ken’s Caesar dressing. The pizza is a thin NY style, greasy (in a good way lol), foldable piece of pie. Exactly what we were looking for! The porch was great for people watching and the pizza was delicious! Would definitely recommend.“

“Great little pizza place with around 4 seats for people to sit inside and enjoy their Pizza in a nice AC cooled room during the summer. Pizza is decently priced, can’t complain in today’s world. Taste is alright, some may not like it however. Overall If I could rate in between, I would rate 4.6 stars. Great place, great folks running the place, pretty great atmosphere. Paid 50 bucks in all for a whole pizza 2 drinks and 2 ice cream bars.“

“I don’t have a bad thing to say about Ray’s!! Being a Philly transplant, I have always been on the hunt for a solid pizza restaurant that delivers. Being one of maybe three on the island, they’ve far exceeded my expectation. The style of pizza and variety of menu reminds me of home with not only pizza, but calzones, STROMBOLI, parms, etc. After being here almost 10 years, I have finally found my go-to take out spot. Did I mention how good their specials are?? Don’t ever change!!“

“food burned. horrific service with bad attitudes. no parking at all. no bathrooms. smoke-filled place. commented on a post of theirs and this was how they replied. zero accountability and customer shaming. sir/mam, whoever you are. if you been doing this for many years, then that gives even less of an excuse to provide such poor quality food and service. you claim the locals know about you. I've been here for years and never heard your name ever mentioned once in any pizza recommendation post. Actually, never heard of you at all. EVER! Now I know why. And by the way, those paper thin slices you sell for $11 or 2 is laughable. In NYC they sold $1 slices heftier than that. One last thing. your sign on the outside states one price for your "SPECIAL" and the sign on the inside is a different price. Clearly you lack consistency and integrity with everything across the board.“

“I don’t even know where to begin to describe how amazing Ty’s was… my fiancé and I stopped in here with my parents on day 1 of our trip to the area and it did not disappoint whatsoever. From the apps to the dessert, all of our choices were a 10/10!! Our waiter Scott was the best, he alone deserves 5 gold stars! ⭐️ we were even lucky enough to meet Ty and found out we were at the “magic table” that earned us dessert on the house!! Now whether you’re lucky enough to get the magic table or not, you CANNOT pass on the churros!!“

It even better that it's located in a shopping center with plenty of FREE parking and away from the hustle and bustle and headache of downtown Charleston. Service was also spot on. Their garlic knot appetizer was different and unlike any other garlic knot I've ever had. I will definitely be back!“

She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. “I had the Shroom pizza... it was so good, that in spite of setting out to eat half, I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it tasted so dang good. Once of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life, and I've had a lot of pizza. Give it a try, well worth it. My wife got the clam pizza and loved it.“

“Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.

“A random visit So I didn't have to make dinner. The pizzas were delicious, and the kids loved watching them being made through the glass window. The prices are just so high. The small pizza is literally the size of a personal pizza from the grocery store, and the large is practically what used to be a medium, but everything else was amazing. “OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I reached out to the Folly Rd. Marco's about having quite a few pizzas, brownies and drinks delivered to a hotel where I had a group of 28 staying. I called the store a couple times in the weeks leading up to the delivery before placing my order online. Each time I called, the person that answered the phone was so polite and helpful. On delivery day, the driver ("9694-H.M.") was on time (a few minutes early, even!) and so polite. When I asked him about the plates and napkins I had requested when I called the store to confirm my order, he had forgotten them and you could tell he felt horrible. He was so apologetic (said he sees the note about the paper products now and just missed it earlier) and offered to go back to the store and get them or go out and buy some at the store around the corner and bring them back. I asked if he'd get reimbursed for that, and he said no, but that didn't matter (I told him it did matter and we didn't need to do that). The group was already starting to come down for dinner, so I asked the hotel if there was any way they could help out (their customer service had also been stellar!). The hotel "saved the day" and was able to provide some paper plates and napkins, so all was well. I told the driver "problem solved" and no worries. I really appreciated him offering to go above and beyond.....I thought service like that was long gone. I was so impressed with this young man. About 20 minutes later, he showed up again at the hotel with a grocery bag of paper plates and napkins (even though he knew the hotel was able to find some for us). I was so impressed with his integrity! I thanked him and said we were good and maybe he could keep those in his car in case he needs them another time. So, Marco's on Folly Beach Rd........not only did you guys provide a great dinner for my group, but had it delivered by a person who is OUTSTANDING at his job!!! Thank you so much for making our evening GREAT!“
