“I love it here I go about once a week when I can sneak away without the family it gets pretty pricey paying for 3 since we all like to order the whole menu. I usually deal with Michelle she’s super friendly and has made it a point to learn my name. The last 2 times I went she was not there but there is a new gentleman who is great. The reason I took 2 stars off service is because of the last waitress she rushed me and didn’t really care to check in. They have a full time sushi guy back now which is a plus and it’s always fresh“

“I had a late night craving for some chinese food. Called them about 20 minutes before they closed and they still told me the food would be ready in about 10 minutes. I also was having trouble with payment because I forgot I locked my Credit Card the night before. I also did not realize at the moment, they are closed Sunday, so they were ready to go but even so they showed patience and the Chicken Lo Mein was awesome! Definitely will be back 👍“

“I got the small Crab Ragoon (6!) and a Pint of Wonton Egg Drop Soup to go. Even after arriving at my destination the food was still piping hot! The crab Ragoon were really good and I'm a fan of the shape they are here. The triangles are just easier to eat. The red sauce that came with them was good too. I like the soup as well but it was a little more on the bland side. But the prices are unbeatable. My order was less than $8.00!“

“It's a Panda Express. In a theme park. So, you know, the food you're used to without the atmosphere. Pros: They're part of the dining plan! Whether you bought the Funday Bundle ticket with all-day dining or the actual meal plan, they've got you covered. Also, the portions are generous. If you're a fan of the Panda, it won't disappoint.
Cons: Like any theme park restaurant, get ready to fork over about $6 if you want a drink besides the complimentary cup of water.
Kid-friendliness: The plates are pretty big. If you've got little ones with smaller appetites, you might be able to get away with splitting a plate! Just ask for an extra plate when you order; they don't mind.“

“Outdated, but I think they think that “look” is “in” ya know with the old menus above and bad lighting. My husband says the look hasn’t changed & it’s looked that way since he was a kid .. mind you he’s almost 28 so if that tells you anything. I’ve gotten the sesame chicken more than once & each time it looks different but it has gotten tastier just wish they could avoid the gummy pieces of chicken I typically get near the bottom. The rice portion could be a bit bigger but I’m watching my rice intake so it’s ok considering the circumstance.
Dietary restrictions: They have options for everyone meat or meatless salt or less salt & oil“

“10/10! The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The food tasted so fresh. I’ve been to China and the decor and ambience reminded me of my time in China. I loved the portion sizes to do family style so we tasted 4 dishes. The Mongolian beef was some of the best my family and I tasted! The fried onions and pepper on the bottom of the salt and pepper shrimp was delicious. The fried rice wasn’t too oily and the fish was nice and tender. We got the fish steamed and didn’t feel weighted down. Everything was amazing and fresh!“

“Took family to dinner on Friday eve. Seated at our table promptly. Food temp was room only and we figured it was ready sitting waiting for waiter to bring to the table. To our surprise the food was high quality- past several times was more of Miss than Hit. The light touch dumplings was perfectly done. I normally ask only their brown rice but this time it was undercooked so switched over to white rice and the beef broccoli coated with right amount of sauce tasted so good I asked for a second bowl of white rice. We ate everything, felt satisfied. Only wished we didn't have to spend so much time waiting for our dishes. Hope the next time we are back the food will retain this high quality.“

“A family favorite for many years. Was back in town after a few years and went there for dinner takeout. Quantity and overall taste was good - a little bland and too saucy.
Took a few points on service as the take out guy gave me grief about requesting fortune cookies and utensils.“

“From the moment I walked in, everyone at Great Wall of China made me feel so welcome — the service was warm, attentive, and genuine. And the food? Easily some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they take pride in what they do. This place is a true gem in Charlotte — I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“great place to pick up (relatively) healthy rice dishes. Lettuce wraps are great (order extra lettuce - they give you alot of the stuff). I like the teriyaki chicken, honey chicken, and orange chicken kids meals (the full size are really full size - too much for me to eat but if you want a big bowl, go for the adult portion). Only disappointment are the desserts - the donuts do not interest me and the brownie was a throw away - it tastes like chalk.
Hey Pei Wei, a small apple pie type dessert would be a nice option (maybe w/ I small scoop of vanilla) - or some other small sweet - but get rid of those stale-tasting brownies or switch vendors (brownies should be gooey & chocolatey)“

“Nothing better than a classic quick Chinese takeout food spot. The food was plentiful and delicious. Nothing wrong with the saucyness or the taste. All on point. Location is dated but that gives it its charm. Staff was nice and food was cooked quickly. If you are near Winthrop University give it a shot.“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 10+ years and I have never been disappointed. This is definitely my go to Chinese food in the area 🔥 only down side is the wait time but I’m used to calling ahead always 45-60 min wait but for the price and the food it’s definitely worth it.“

“i come here or get take out weekly. Its one of the best chinese restaurants I've been too in charlotte. the staff is warm and welcoming. the food is easily customizable. I've not had a bad meal here. i like the garlic sauce here with any meat. their spring rolls are killer good. I'm a fan of their soups especially hot and sour. it not a huge restaurant, but they have decorated it very nice. the food is always piping hot even the togo food... I enjoy it as often as I can. you should help support this mom and pop place. its well worth it.“

“Amazing restaurant, great atmosphere, and the best general tso’s I have ever had. The way i gage how good a Chinese restaurant is, is by getting general chicken. Here it’s not greasy and feels healthy. I have been coming back for months now!“

“I love this place! When I am working out this way I always order pickup from here. The gentleman who answers the phone is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to when ordering food. He is just as nice in person as well. I love the sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and the chicken lo mein. Egg rolls are great also.“

“I love this chinese food place. It
seriously is #1. The food is always fresh and satisfies my cravings! The environment is definitely like an average american chinese food place, but it wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t like that!“

“This is a nice and tasty place! I don’t know why it has so few reviews, it’s not worse than Japanese near! Just you don’t need to stay 20 min in a lane! The guy kindly gave me a slice of chicken to try and I realized that it’s very tasty!“

“Just ordered delivery from this place and it’s fantastic, exactly what I was craving. If you’re looking for classic, cheap americanized chinese food then this is it. I have been in search of a go to chinese takeout place in Charlotte, and after about 10 different places I have finally found it. It is identical to the place around the corner from my house when I was growing up. The yellow fried rice, lo mein, eggrolls, moo goo gai pan, and sweet and sour chicken are all exactly the same. The dumplings were unexpectedly more like bao than gyoza, but were fantastic. The teriyaki chicken on a stick was great, but only came with 2. Again, super happy to have found this place.“

“This place doesn't look like much, however I must say I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Also the price makes it even a better deal. I got Shrimp with Broccoli in garlic sauce with shrimp fried rice. I couldn't stop eating it was so good, so definitely try this dish if you like a little sweet and spice.“

“We popped in here and grabbed lunch before we went to the movies. I am picky about my Chinese but this was really good. I ordered the general tso plate and my fiance ordered a triple delight which had beef, chicken and shrimp. It was very good portions. They separate the meat from the rice in the to go container an I liked that. Food was very good and hot. You could see the steam coming off of it when you opened the container. Will definitely eat here again when we are in Charlotte and want chinese. This is a take out situation no where to dine in.“

“They haven't offered dine in since COVID. Their meals are still amazing. I ordered spicy house fried rice, no onions and no pork. I also ordered honey chicken with white rice for my daughter. The color of the fried rice was attractive and food quality is great. This place is my go-to chinese place..“

“The food was amazing, portions big, we enjoyed, we full and we want to come back.
About the table, restrooms and the whole atmosphere, this is not the restaurant, that’why I don’t care about it, I pay for the delicious food and I get it“

“It's a pretty standard Chinese takeout. I wouldn't normally think to leave a review for this. But I felt compelled to, after reading some of the critical reviews.I'll start with my small complaint: chicken and broccoli was watery, and needed salt.Otherwise, everything was great. I'm sure we've all noticed the climbing prices at every restaurant. Today, I was looking for Chinese takeout on the way home, which wouldn't cost an arm and leg. Last time I got Chinese carry out somewhere else, it was $27 for 2 meals! This is possibly the most affordable Chinese takeout in Rock Hill, and the portions are fair. I can only think of one with comparable prices. But they are all the way over on Cherry Rd, so I wouldn't consider them competition. They are also notorious for long waits. Our food was ready by the time we arrived. It was edible and filling. The young lady at the counter was downright pleasant, and her smiling face inspired me to leave some feedback. We will be back for more ?
Parking: It's at the end of the Food Lion shopping center at the intersection of Ebenezer and herlong“

“While dinner for 2 was more expensive than the average Chinese restaurant it was well worth it. I ordered the Pepper Steak and a Shrimp with mixed Vegetables. The food was expertly cooked. Steak and shrimp were tender and seasoned to perfection with FRESH ingredients. Food flavors were perfectly balanced and not obnoxiously salty, including the pork fried rice. Their egg drop soup was one of the best I have ever had.“

“This is the only place where I enjoy Thalis, different Sabzi’s (not same old paneer nonsense), sambar, rasam , diff types of rice and more….no heavy butter or heavy cream usage makes it my most picked choice for my kids. Recently they renovated the whole place and we were pleasantly surprised to a very warm and welcoming picture of Lord Buddha. Staff, owner, service everything is excellent. They have multiple other options too including the regular traditional Dosas, Idli and so much more“

“Quick, friendly and good taste! Order last minute for 5 ppl on a Sunday night. Everyone was happy with their dish. I had shrimp pad Thai, which was good but would have liked more vegetables. I’d get it again, though and the portions were very generous. A great weekly staple.“
