“Came in for brunch, food was great! Our server Allie was swamped with about 15 tables. She told us she was the only server and thanked us for our patience multiple times. Couldn’t help but notice she was pretty heavily pregnant. We don’t know why she didn’t have more support but we all agree the restaurant should be grateful for her“

We returned a couple of times on the same trip. We live in NJ... and set up a trip last year JUST to go to Leons. I am actually scared to post a review because I selfishly want to keep it a secret for my boyfriend and I. Man, if you like chicken and oysters... you cannot go wrong. “We hosted our daughter and son in law's wedding dinner reception. We live in Virginia and planning this event from two states away was daunting, but Eli made planning flawless and easy, answering every nervous mother of the bride question promptly with so much interest and attention to detail. We had some food allergies that were handled with ease. The food was delicious, the private dining area was perfect, the patio cozy. The service was impeccable. They knew it was our anniversary and i am surprised that not even a complimentary dinner or even a bottle of wine was given. This year s not a cheap hotel so when spending this type of money to offer a dinner or a bottle of wine would have been nice.“

“Edmund’s Original is one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston. It’s the perfect mix of quality and price, with a team that always makes us feel right at home. I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Whenever someone comes to visit from out of town, we bring them to EO so they can get a taste of what we’re fortunate to enjoy regularly. The food is phenomenal - from the fried chicken to the burger to the steak, and everything in between. The beer selection is top notch. In-house developed cocktails are creative, while the classics are on point if that’s more your speed. The chocolate cake and an espresso martini are the perfect touch to finish it all off! Oh, and don’t sleep on the special events they host! When the chef teams up with other chef’s from around the state, they always deliver a unique and delicious experience!“

“I was visiting my daughter in Charleston and we had dinner, the drink menu had great choices and I particularly enjoyed the Gold Rush, the crab stuffed cannoli appetizer was the perfect starter before the outstanding ribeyes we both had! The real star of the show here is the Assistant Manager Jacqueline, she was very accommodating and her smile and pleasant demeanor made you feel right at home. I will be back every visit to Charleston in the future, well done👏🏻“

“Me and my daughter had been traveling all night (and looked like we had been). We stopped here because we were starving and needed to kill time until we could check into our hotel. The staff was so friendly to us. I felt like we were under dressed (it was Easter) but no one seemed to judge us for it. As for the food - amazing!!!!! I got the fried artichoke sandwich and it was sooooo good. The fries were also very good. This place has such a good vibe. I wish we were in town longer so we could enjoy it again.“

“Super cute coffee shop! The barista who helped me offered recommendations and I ended up trying the whipped honey espresso. Absolutely delicious, light and sweet with just the right amount of caffeine for an afternoon pick-me-up. Although it was pretty busy there was still enough seating to find a spot inside or outside.“

“Quaint little Deli in Downtown, Charleston. Stopped by for a quick sandwich after church on a Sunday and right before a gig.

The sandwich was SO FRESH and packed with meat. Hard to bite but good. My first time trying Carolina Kettle chips (Dill Pickle of course!!) but I prefer Miss Vickie's brand way more. These were definitely different though.

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“
