“Marilyn's Kitchen was phenomenal. Our entire family was thrilled with every bite we took. it's really hard to make a family of 6 equally as satisfied and tonight it happened. The Fried chicken fish and shrimp were so good. but, let me tell.you about the collard greens and honey corn bread, OMG, TO DIE FOR.. I Cannot wait for them to return. thank you all. oh, did I tell you how friendly they were? and very sanitary. I've been to.numerous food trucks. I was very impressed.“

“Okay honest review time---(4.8 stars out of 5- but we can't do partial stars) I got the garlic parmesan wings and fries with the pineapple lemonade. The lemonade by itself is 10 stars, nice and sweet and refreshing!! The wings were great too, super flavor packed and crunchy!! The fries were the only real food complaint, cooked really well but no seasoning, not even salt. They tasted okay but I ended up dipping them in the garlic sauce to make them taste better. They also threw in a plantain and it was good too! Atmosphere is effected bc its a food truck but the lady in the truck was friendly and so polite!! Definitely recommend this place, so good!!“
“If y’all need a good southern home cooked meal this is the place to go! We got a meat, veg, and rice plate this perfectly hit the spot! The green beans were delicious and the pot roast I had was so flavorful! I also decided to get a strawberry shortcake cup which was so good I didn’t even get to take a photo!“

“To say the Sweet Shop is an iconic legend in Mt P is an understatement!! You won't find better food anywhere at any price for what's on his menu. As restaurants come and go I can't think of any other that's still in business after 30+ years.“

“Amazing food! Love the egg rolls! Been here twice from Savannah, GA and this place has NOT disappointed me! Desserts are delicious, you cant go wrong as well as the pineapple jalapeño margarita! Next time I will try the Award Winning Shrimp and Grits. The honey salmon was soooo good, too!“

“Small African American restaurant. We white folks just off the plane from NYC were greeted like old friends by the ladies behind the counter. And the food was great. Was going to get just a vegetable plate — the lima beans were fantastic (never thought I’d say those words). The fried pork chop out of this world. The cashier made sure I got the free cornbread. Oh yeah, the bread pudding was out of this world.“

“Amazing food and service! We ordered catering from them for an employee meeting. Everyone loved it! The delivery was great. They set everything up for us. The even brought utensils and plates. The gentleman explained which pan was what before he left. Food was delicious! Something for everyone including vegetarians! Great pricing also. We will definitely be ordering again from here. “The seafood egg roll and crab cakes stuffed with shrimp was really good. Also had Mac n cheese and Lima beans. Huge portions so could not eat it all but I really wanted to. Their sweet tea was perfect for this GA girl. Definitely on my list for revisits.“

“The country fried steak was perfect! The Mac n cheese was a little dry, but it was end of lunch rush, the baked beans were really good. My sweet tea was a delightful mix and I had 2 glasses!
The baked potatoes needed just a little more toppings (butter) and maybe some sour cream on both sides. They were beautifully presented.
The banana pudding was a trip back to my childhood! Make sure you order some!
Again, towards end of lunch rush so things were winding down.“
