“We’ve tried the tacos de lengua, de tripas, asada, and al pastor and they are so good! We love all the tacos. The consomé is also really tasty and simple. Still need to try other things on the menu, but we’re hooked. They always give you cilantro w onion, some limes, and two delicious but very spicy sauces. We like it too because we can let our toddler run around since there’s music and a tv making noise! It’s perfect. Very kid friendly. Rosie is our favorite cashier, so sweet and attentive.“

We had beef bulgogi, great, home style.
Deaji bulgogi, again fantastic very homie.
Kalbi, who doesn’t love a food kalbi. This one in particular pairs well with the banchan.

Oh the banchan was THE BEST. So many, really nice. None to over powering.

We also had the seafood pancake. Great. Fluffy, not greasy.

And the star of the show, naengmyeon, who doesn’t love naengmyeon?

“CJs is a 5 pts staple bar. It's a mix of all types of people so it's not the usual college bar even though it's in that area. The food is served until 10 pm and the sandwiches are all delicious. There's pool tables and a great patio area with a view of the fountain. Hands down the best location to sit and enjoy the heart of 5 pts.“

“We went to Baked Bear on Saturday, January 7th. When we got there, the line was out the door (it's delicious so I get it). As we get inside I realize this 1 girl is working alone. Her name was Natasha I believe. She was amazing. She welcomed each person when they came in, had a smile on her face the entire time, and made us all some delicious treats. This girl deserves a raise and a bonus! If I owned a business I would be trying to take her from you 😁. It very unusual to see this kind of work ethic these days, especially from someone so young. “We had a special luncheon to that the Soldiers of Fort Jackson 1-61st Infantry Battalion today for all their great support and Fancy That Catering was AWSOME beyond words. They showed up early and were set up before anyone arrived, the food was fantastic and served 100 of our military “s finest. The ladies that set up all the food, served the food were so polite, kind and enjoy themselves amongst all our Soldiers and Officers that attended. Thank God we found the best Catering Service with such short notice and it was remarkable. Thank You Fancy That Catering Services and we know who to call for our next gathering. “I just want to offer a thank you to the gourmet shop for y'all's help today. My wife and I have eaten here for years and love it. So when it came time for our daughter's baptism this morning when we found out the Gourmet Shop offered a catering menu it became a no brainer for us. The catering options on a per head basis for 12 people were an incredible value. Our guests, many of whom do not live downtown now want to make it a point to visit the restaurant. Thank you again for making it easy for two parents of a 6 month old to throw a great party for our family.“

“Nice battery brewery with small menu of traditional bar food. Wide selection of beers that is updated regularly. Not a huge selection of food, but the pizza I ordered was fairly large and tasted like pizza. A lot of space to sit so large groups can be accommodated, including both indoors and outdoors. The building is an old airplane hanger and includes a large amount of brewing equipment which is really cool to see. A great spot to hang out and drink with friends.“

The wait staff is polite, informative, and give just the right amount of service... and not hovering. Each time we have eaten here, the manager checks in with us to make sure everything is as it should be. Perhaps it was the last time we ate here, I happened to forget an unusual drinking cup. I was totally surprised when today the waitress saw I had a similar one with me and inquired if I might have left one behind. They kept it safe for a few weeks and returned it to me! #10+ for that service!“

As I lay my head to rest in my New England town, I fall asleep to the thought of tasting their French fries one more time. Not a day has gone by in the past six years of my life that I haven’t dreamt of these absolutely delectable and mouthwatering sweet potato french fries drizzled ever so beautifully with sweet cinnamon sugar. I shed tears reminiscing the moment I put that first French fry in my mouth. I can only pray to have the satisfaction of tasting these scrumptious and succulent French fries again. I am considering driving 13 hours to have this angelic moment once more.“
