My baby of 1 year old was a little anxious and making noises as anyone year old will do and we can’t control that… and two ladies giving my little one the middle finger was uncomfortable, unacceptable and inappropriate….. people out please be empathetic to other and specially kids, they are learning the way through life… society is harder enough already…. Pd: wish I could get pictures of these two idiots!!!!“

“Been to Corkscrew many times and have always had a wonderful time and enjoyed our snacks and drinks. Tonight, I went to celebrate a coworker. Having recently undergone significant oral surgery, I am limited to eating soft foods only. I was going to stick to wine and not inconvenience anyone but the waiter was very accomodating and said he had me covered. Stewart then came out with a special plate for me, featuring only soft foods and untoasted bread. He even brought out a flatbread for the table with one corner piece less toasted than the rest. Such a genuine, thoughtful act of kindness. I truly can’t thank him enough! Y’all have earned a customer for life. Stewart, you are a gem!“

They always have a pretty good size rotating beers on tap and an amazing selection of bottles and cans. If you are looking for a gard to find or specialty beer, there is a pretty good chance that Kit will be able to locate it and get it for you.“

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

“A mystery. Outstanding ambiance, looks and feels like nice casual cafes we ate at in Milan and Tuscany. Once inside can't believe it's in an outdoor mall in NC. Friendly service. Chicken marsala with mushrooms as good as it gets. Hearts of palm salad not on many menus but was delightful. The customers seemed to be enjoying a relaxed, quality dining experience without the pretense of a fancy place or buzz of a large busy place. The mystery-why was it only half full on a Friday night?“

I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! So refreshing to have such friendly and professional staff to communicate with!“

“I stopped at Firebirds today for a late lunch. The soup of the day was amazing (Tomato bisque) and a perfectly cooked burger. Most outstanding was my server Michelle. She was so gracious I felt like she was welcomimg me into her home.“

We always get the deviled eggs, and the way the bacon and jalapeño go together in the mix makes the eggs taste wonderful! When they have it, I always get the prime rib, and it's always cooked perfectly. Always get the broccoli or the parmesan mashed potatoes. Everything always comes out fast and perfectly prepared. The service there is also impeccable. It's so much better than all of these other steak chains here in the city.“

“Disappointed yet felt bad. Portofino has a lot of work to do to keep the establishment up. I would’ve left a harsher review yet I felt bad. The food lacked seasoning and service was severely long. The atmosphere was filled with a restaurant with barely any staff nearby. I believe with some work Portofinos can make a turn around. Good luck :D“
