“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.“

“I normally do not like shrimp and grits but theirs was delicious! Also the pasta salad, squash, butter beans, and tomato pie were yummy as well. I hate sugared cornbread so that was a no for me. The crab cake wasn't bad but I personally don't think it's worth that price. Great service, location, and food overall!“

“This is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere and service is top notch and the chef is amazing. We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. Simple dishes but to prepare them correctly takes great talent, to prepare them the way they did takes great talent. My compliments to the chef!!!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everytime I come I feel so welcomed! They truly have the most inviting staff that treats you like family. The best latte I’ve ever had is from here (oat latte with white chocolate & fresh strawberry syrup). I come here weekly because it’s an amazing experience everytime. See yall next soon 🥰🥰“

“Glad I decided to come to John's Island. Very cool restaurant! Lots of menu items that look tasty. Outdoor seating. Staff was attentive and friendly. Video games! I had a chicken sandwich. It was delicious. Definitely worth coming back to try other items.“

“Very unassuming from the outside, we actually almost skipped it just based off looks. So glad we decided to stay. Everything we ordered was amazing. I had the breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and my husband had a French toast sandwich. The side of fruit was actual good fruit and not mediocre honeydew like many places. Perfect stop for brunch after visiting the angel tree and tea garden.“

“Kids food was reasonably priced and portions were solid. The seafood platter was not great and looked thrown together quickly, but tacos were fantastic. The view and atmosphere were also wonderful. I would probably go back just for that part of the experience.“

“We are not from the US and wanted to have a waffle house experience. This location was very clean, the service was fast and helpful and the food was yummy.

They have a great section for adults and kids with really good kids prices. They even gave our kids some little paper hats to wart that added to the experience.

Vegetarian options: There seemed to be lots of vegetarian options

Parking: There is a large parking lot right outside with plenty of spaces

Kid-friendliness: They had about 5 menu options for kids that were $6 with the option to add a drink for $1“

“It was nearly freezing outside and they tried sitting us next to an open window, thankfully they were understanding and moved us to a different table. Our server was a little slower and less attentive than other servers at the tables around us, we had to wait several times for refills on our drinks. All of the food tasted great and everything but the soup was an appropriate temperature. When it is near freezing I want soup that warms me up from the inside, the she-crab soup did NOT do that. The soup was not hot at all, I'm pretty sure the rest of the food was hotter than the soup, it still tasted good but was a little disappointing.“
