“We saw the sign on the way to Orlando and decided on our way back home we’d stop for lunch. We had no idea this place existed. Nice atmosphere, loved the memorabilia. Potato golf balls were delicious but our entrees were a little disappointing. Service was decent.“

“The service and most of the food was amazing last Saturday night. My brother had the Wagu steak it had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. The only problem was it was chewy and the fat seemed like it did not break down. Our server was amazing and said that she would get a manager. 20 minutes later the manager came over with an attitude. We explained the situation and he seemed not to care. Said every once in a while that even the best meat could be off. He did nothing to fix it and walked off like we wasted his time. Very disappointed in the manager’s lack of interest. Very satisfied and happy with our server.“

“Atmosphere is amazing. We've been twice and we will be back. The food is decent but don't expect a 5 star taste. The scenery makes up for the long wait and luke warm food once it does make it to your table. It is pricey but we didn't mind because again the Atmosphere is very romantic.“

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

Owner/Operators Tim & Connie and their son Archie run a great place and go above and beyond. Great selection of liquors as well as bottled beers and ciders, and four beer on tap. No wine here as Belmont (or Gaston County) require different licensing. Lots of live music on weekends and loads of special events and even impromptu potluck meals. “I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!“

“This is THE place in Belmont for an afternoon hang or summer dinner + beer! The food is amazing! Don't miss the sliders. The beer options change out to allow for a good rotation of local selections (not awesome, but always solid). The patio is an ideal space for a summer hang for lazy days overlooking the park or entertaining summer nights in the heart of Main Street listening to the music of Belmont's Friday Night Live events. But by far, the best part about Cornerstone is the service! Everyone from the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the bar back, is customer focused. Possibly the best service on the strip! “The food and drinks are fine. It is what was expected in an airport. However, where do you get the bar stools? A scrap metal yard? I own night clubs. We buy restaurant equipment at the auctions. The auctioneers would not be able to sell these except for scrap metal value. These are 100 years old, no padding and if you have a 2.5 hour layover like I had, you can sit for 15 minutes before it is more comfortable to just stand up“

“1) People movers have been broken for months if not years. Not a big deal if you are not changing terminals, but seriously get them fixed. 2) Have been delayed at origination airports for departure to CLT and from CLT to destinations on almost every flight I have taken that involves Charlotte. 3) Taxi times are almost as long as some of the flights out of there and ground crews are rarely ready to send or receive aircraft. Horrible airport. one of the worst in the country.“

“My wife and I made reservations this past Friday. We were seated immediately at a very comfortable table. We had cocktails beforehand but noticed their lounge is spacious , we will be sure to have pre dinner drinks there next time. Our server was very attentive and helpful with menu choices. There happened to be the YOCO Trail week w/ special menu items at several restaurants in the area. So we were able to each choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for $35 each. We had the tortillas with lobster dip, a strawberry salad and they served warm bread with a tomato and olive oil sauce. I ordered shrimp and grits and my wife had the salmon. We also chose the key lime pie and chocolate mousse cake. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“
