“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

Can I say Buffalo Portions at Hummingbird Prices, we were shocked at how inexpensive it was. I loved the Sports Bar Atmosphere. We will definitely be bk. “1st time trying this great tasting establishment. I’m a BBQ fan, everywhere we travel I try and find the local go to spot, this one did not disappoint. The Brisket was amazing, the sides were all great as well. Portions were very filling, staff was super friendly.“

“Stopped by for a quick bite and everything was delicious. I didn't even think I was that hungry, but I finished the 1/4 order of pulled pork - and all the sides. They accidentally gave me cole slaw instead of green beans, but I didn't mind. Within seconds of sitting down, the hostess came by and dropped off the green beans, apologizing for the error. She had noticed it when my order came out and proactively made the correction! She was very sweet about it and I appreciate the gesture. Plus, their selection of sauces ensures you get the flavors you like!“

“Can’t rave about Cox enough. Not only is their food delicious, they truly go above and beyond. We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from there. We woke up Thanksgiving morning and were all feeling sick. Not wanting to waste the turkey, we called and asked if there was any chance we could pay them to deliver the turkey after the shop closes. Not only did they happily offer to deliver the turkey, they didn’t just drop it at the door, they insisted on bringing it in and set it up on our kitchen counter. We offered to pay them whatever they wanted for the holiday delivery and they absolutely refused. They said it was part of their job to make sure we enjoyed thanksgiving. While the food was so tasty, we are literally without words on their service. We will be customers for life and you should be too.“

“This was my first time here and our server was fantastic. They explained everything answered all of our questions and was polite and friendly. There were many options on the menu to handle gluten free & dye free needs and many vegetarian options as well as a nice variety for pescatarians. You sure don't leave hungry!“

“We got half scallion chicken, whole duck, beef noodle soup, eggplant.

All of it was delicious and juicy!

They do give you a heads up, with the duck and whole/chicken it doesn't come out hot but they were amazing.
The beef and noodle soup was a rich delicious soup. Relative to the other dishes the beef and noodle and the eggplant had a nice kick in the back of the throat but nothing crazy at all.

The staff is very nice, the service was good/fast. It's def a gem if you're looking for a good Chinese meal and haven't tried it yet!“

“Hite’s Bar-B-Que is a true Columbia staple and one of those classic spots that’s been around for a reason. It’s not trying to be fancy or trendy. It’s just straightforward, no frills BBQ that hits the spot when you want something familiar and satisfying.

The food is solid, the portions are good, and it’s the kind of place you can count on for a dependable meal. It feels like a local institution and it’s the type of restaurant that adds character to a city.

I’m giving it five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it consistently. If you want a classic Columbia BBQ experience, Hite’s is absolutely worth a visit.“

“Went to the drive thru tonight and had the nicest employee take my order. He was friendly and so kind. Yes it took more time than your average drive thru but the food was hot and fresh. Will be back.“

“Great food for a traveler. Being from Texas, I order the burger as always and it was great! Baked sweet potato and chicken stripe were good too. Only prob was the look I got when I asked from white gravy to dip chicken in. It's a thing in Texas.“
