“Moved to this area about 18 months ago….and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant! Just now getting to Lyman and I think I found my favorite ?. Quick efficient service and served my marg without the salt. Extra points for friendliness and flavor!!“

“Chips and Cheese is one of those places that just gets it right—every single time. The service is always friendly and fast, the food is ridiculously tasty, and they’ve got the coldest beer in town. I love that they always have music playing and a salsa bar that takes it to the next level. You even leave smelling like you’ve been somewhere worth it (in the best way). On top of all that? “I had one of the best restaurant tamales ever. I am used to homemade and it's hard to get a freshly made tamale in most Mexican restaurants. The chili relleno and my chicken enchilada were good too. They label themselves as California-Mex and that is accurate. I lived in southern California. Just sayin'“

“There are literally over a dozen Mexican (and Chinese and burger) places within a 5 miles radius all around me and I've eaten at all 10 to 12 of them just to see which one I'd like the best.
This is the only place I come to when I'm in the mood for Mexican and Los mexicanos isn't the closest or the farthest but it's always my first thought and top of the list both for food and service.
Some of my other options are so close I could walk to them but I don't because they are near the bottom of my list to pick from.
You'll find all your favorites here just like any other Mexican restaurant out there but the food is just better here than the other restaurants in the area and I've always gotten good service.“

But the service was perfect and spot-on (i was a walk-in take out order with questions and some specifications). My server was helpful he got tipped well for a takeout order. Food was exactly as requested and GREAT!!“

“food is good, but for their hours you think they'd have enough sides seems like they run out of alot so early on plus the tacos are basic, and hardly come with anything on it! cilantro & onions only? They never answer their phone which I don't understand why it's even on the truck. They definitely have some things to improve on, but I will give them another chance seeing that the food is good. I'd give a 4 star rating.“

“Last night we went into Sabroso Mexican Grille at 845. We were greeted warmly by the owner even though it was 15 minutes prior to close. We asked for authentic Mexican tacos versus TexMex style. You can see the yumminess that we were given. Fresh and hot, the meal was on point! I didn't get a picture of the chips and salsa, but the "hot" salsa had some heat and was bursting with flavor. I'm sure I will be going back again!“

“This place is Increíblemente delicioso(amazingly delicious) Love the brisket tacos especially. Cannot wait to try the tamales. Also they actually have REAL hot sauce. This is the first and only place that we've had real hot sauce in this state. So much appreciated. Also the staff workers were very nice. Its very clean too. I give them 10 stars.“
